Avi and the rest of the band were sitting in the waiting room of the hospital. Kevin was praying, Mitch was crying, Scott was asleep. Avi was pacing back and forth, thinking about how he had found her.
Mitch had tested all of the group asking where Kirstie was after she never turned up to his place. Nobody knew but Scott, but he was asleep. Mitch just shook his head and buried it in his hands.
"Hello, gentlemen." The lead doctor walked in with two nurses who began examining the sleeping girl with extreme care.
"How is she?" Avi jumped as soon as the lead doctor came in, and his worry was more evident than ever.
"She is fine. She just needs to rest - she broke a few bones but they are healing quickly." Avi's storm of emotions was calmed a bit, but he still glanced at the woman he loved so dearly with a concerned look.
"See, it's okay, Avi." Kevin reached around Avi's shoulders to comfort him.
