Mitch screamed in shock as his phone rang. He was in the middle of recorded for Sup3r Fruit with Scott, and he wasn't ready for a phone to vibrate and ring loudly.
'Sorry, it's Kirstie,' Mitch whispered, as he got up to talk in privacy.
'Hey Mitch! I know you just dropped me off but is it ok if I come round again? I need to talk to you and Scott about something.' Kirstie sounded frustrated, but yet her words gave a sense of importance.
'Sure, girl. Be there soon!' Mitch hung up and went to get his keys.
'Mitch?' Scott asked.
'Oh sorry,' Mitch replied, 'Kirst wants me to pick her up.'
'Why?'
'She wants to talk to us about something... And by the sound of her voice it sounds important.'
Scott pulled a face. 'We were meant to be recording?'
'I love Superfruit. Don't get me wrong. But friends ALWAYS come before fans. No matter how much I love them loving me. Like the day we did it a day late because I was sick as.'
Scott nodded. But he only agreed to do that episode a day late, as he would so anything for Mitch.
Does that mean I wouldn't for Kirst?
But Mitch was so much more. So much... Scott just couldn't put his finger on it.
'Ok, let's go.' Mitch turned to go out the door.
