Circuit Broken- Ateez

1 : The Change

Hongjoong sat at the desk with an apple in one hand, file in the other, a cup of coffee to his right and at least 4 other files to his left. It was 11:35 am and he had a meeting at 12:30 and needed all the files put away by 4:30pm.

There are 2 types of files. The completed and the incomplete. Now it wasn't about how much is filled out. All files are filled out or as much as they can. The 2 types are based on whether a politieagent has completed the task in the file. Currently Hongjoong was storing them into the types and choosing some of the incomplete ones to do himself.

So far he has chosen 1 file. It was one that was expected to take 1 week. It's to infiltrate this company called Aero-Corps. Aero-Corps is a flying company that has recently bred using their trained flyers to take out small commercial planes. If he takes the case he is expected to take down the company. Whether it be kill the higher ups or get the truth out.

He took the case and now all he has to do is inform The Head, Bian QuigZhu. Luckily his meeting was in 5 minutes. Hongjoong checked the time again and proceeded to run to the elevator with the file and his coffee. Leaving the other files on his desk.

"Ah Hongjoong. Almost on time. We were gonna wait in case you forgot. But you remembered. Good. Is that a case you're considering?"

"Yes. But we can discuss that after."

"Yes that would be best. Eden, Maddox and myself were talking about creating a group."

"A group? But why?"

"Well that's what the meeting is for Hongjoong. I personally think we should have a group as there's just so many cases coming in and you 3 aren't able to keep up with them all. Well you can keep up but you're all getting injured more. No offense. And we've had to send some of the cases to other facilities. Having a group may lessen the load by a lot."

"Is KQ ready for a group? I mean the building is large and has plenty of resources but can it really deal with a group?"

"The most recent set of trainees are to be released next week and that's actually what I'm concerned about. There are 7 trainees that have exceptional Ticks compared to the other trainees.The other issue is this set of trainees have flaws. Flaws that weren't properly delt with. We already sent a letter to the 7, offering a spot here. However we think they should go through the extra training course. The issue with that is most of them have refused to do so. Which is why we need another opinion. Your opinion. I think they should take the extra training. Eden does too. Maddox doesn't. Zitao doesn't."

"May I read the profiles then inform you?"

"Of course. You would have to in the end no matter what. You would be their Brigadier after all."

"I'd be the Brigadier? Why?"

"Read the instructor comments and you'll figure it out."

"Ah okay..."

"Eden, Maddox you may leave. Hongjoong Let's see which case you're taking this time."

"Aero-Corps. I remember doing flight school there. Well it was called Aero-School Corps. Are you okay with this though? You'll have to pretend to be a high official and record the meetings. Or kill many people."

"It's not the first time I've done that."

"No but it's the first time this could turn into a suicide mission. Are you prepared for that?"

"I've always been ready for that."

"You weren't prepared for the meeting today."

"Haha funny."
