"Shush!"
"Do not tell me to shut up!"
"Just why are you so loud!?"
"Why are you two so annoying? You're disturbing everyone, we're all worried goddamit!"
"Shut up, Connor!" A female and a male voice spat back, almost in unison.
"I'm just saying, when she wakes up, I doubt the first thing she'll want to hear is you two arguing"
"Think on the positive side, might help her get back to normality..." Another female voice said.
"What the hell is going on here? Where am I? Why is everything dark? Why do I feel so heavy?"
Ella finally managed to slowly open her eyes. Everything was hazy and confusing. She saw the four indistinguishable figures. One of them, a slim blue eyed dark haired beautiful girl who looked almost goddess like, was sitting by her side, holding her hand. A tall, muscular guy was walking around hastily. He didn't seem like he had slept much, his dirty blonde hair was messy and his scruff was more grown than usual. Sitting at the only table in the room was another girl with messy curly ginger hair and a pair of huge glasses on her hands. Standing again a corner was the last guy, very tall and moderately muscular blonde.
"I'm going to have to agree with Connor, guys..." the whole room went silent as Ella spoke. The tall blonde shot up from the wall and quickly kneeled by Ella's bed.
"Agree with me, huh? That's a rare one, lassie! How hard was it you hit your head?" Ella could only now see that his big brown eyes were watering. His eye bags were puffy. He had been crying.
"Don't joke, Connor!!!" Margot snapped.
"He's just trying to lighten the mood, Phoebe retorted.
Only then was Ella finally able to remember why she was there, what had happened.
"Where's Diane?" Ella said, worried.
Everyone in the room looked at her with a mist of shock but also fear, fear of telling her something that would hurt her deeply.
"Ella, you have been out for a while..." Connor started.
"Yes, a lot has happened since the crash, Ella. Maybe we should talk more when you've rested a bit more..." Steve continued.
"How long was I out? What happened? Tell me the truth!" Ella interrupted.
Phoebe, who still had her hand on hers, stroked her hair with her other hand and started talking.
"Well, Ells, after you got ran over you entered a coma. It's been three months since the crash, sweetie... its May."
Ella sat up, in shock, trying to process the information she had just been given.
"Wow.... May. That's... a lot of time. What does it have to do with Diane though? And how are you all here?"
"Well, Ella, we've been spending most of our time here ever since we heard you had come out of the coma. We all wanted to be here when you woke up."
"Thanks guys! But where's Will? And Mom, and Dad? and Diane? Why won't any of you answer me!?" Ella was starting to become anxious and panicked.
"Ella, you have to calm down, you're still very fragile. You're lucky to be alive, you took a very nasty hit! Please don't ruin it now. Now, Mom and Dad went to the cantina to get some lunch after, your friends arrived. Will is in a doctor's appointment, he's doing therapy now...it's not everyday you see your older sister get run over."
