"MARINETTE YOU ARE TEN MINUTES LATE THE PLANE LEAVES IN AN HOUR!"

Marinette shot up, pulled an outfit (look above), and brushed her hair. Recently, it has curled up in a cute way and she did not mind it at all. She was glad. She dashed down the stairs, tripped, and fell down the steps. Her parents were used to it as was she. Looking at the clock, she noticed she was an hour earlier than she was told.

"Maman you tricked me" she whined "We don't have to leave for another hour". Sabine chuckled. "Marinette you should be at the airport early because, Gotham University got you a First Class seat on the plane". "Oh." She felt embarassed. And scuffled back to the counter

"Hurry up, I have to drop you off before rush hour Mari" her father pecked her on the cheek. "Ok Papa I will be ready in ten minutes." And with that, she was ready.

"First Class is now boarding."

"Seat 16B....Seat 16B.." she murmered to herself as she boarded the plane. She got a middle seat. Well isn't that just stupendous. She though with a scowl.

"Hey sunshine what's with the scowl?" She hasn't heard that nickname in over ten years. It was the name Jay called her. But it wasn't Jay at all.

The man sat down by the window seat, smiled and said, "Excuse me miss, my brother is scheduled to be on this flight as well and his seat is also in this exact row. Would you like to switch seats with me? I would hate for you to be in between our fights for the next 8 hours" he rubbed his neck sheepishly as he shifted from side to side.

"Of course" she replied with a smile. "But if you two start fighting while I'm sleeping, I might unconciously punch you in the face. When I hear loud noises or yelling in my sleep, I have flashbacks to uhh something really bad that happened. Instead of flight I'm more fight hehe."

He looked at her quizically and put his hand out. "My name is Dick." she replied "Marinette." And a worn out leather jacket came into view. Marinette, with years of fighting Akumas, has become observant of everything she needed to know. Even her clumsiness is faked to throw off her identity (just not when she's half asleep or flustered). But what she saw, she immediately got into defense mode.

Bullet holes.

Bullet holes and burned scorch marks littered his leather jacket. His sunglasses were clean, unlike the soot on his face. Soot from a fire, not from the dirt. His hair was sticking up like a porcupine and the white tuft in the front of his head was covered in dirt.

"What the Hell Jay?!?!" Dick brought out a handkercheif, wet it with some water, and started, in a very motherly fashion to wipe the soot off. "Fuck off Grayson I got it." Dick looked absoloutley hurt. As if the other boy had punched him in the gut. "Take off your sunglasses Jason, you look like a dumbass". As they were removed from his face, she saw something so familiar, it pained her.

"Hood?" was the only thing that came out of her mouth and the only word that went through her head. Dick was very confused and very concerned for the girl. "Miss Marinette what are you-"

Jay's face dropped.

"P- Pixie?" His voice was shaking. "Am I missing something here?" Dick questioned. Marinette threw her arms around Jason's neck and cried. Even Jason shed a tear or two.

"Jason how the Hell do you know Marinette? She's not even from the United States?"

"Actually" she looked up, "I am from Gotham City. Ten years ago when Jason went missing, I was kidnapped-" Jason looked up in absolute fury and he put his hand on his holster "You were what?" he was beyond pissed. Dick has never seen him this upset. Even about the Joker.

"I can handle myself Jay" she now looked pissed. Jason put his hands up in the air as if to surrender. "I don't doubt it for a second Mare-Bear." Dick could not believe his eyes was Jason actually  giving up a fight? "How do you two know each other?"

"Dickie bird, this is my little sister Mari. Back when I used to live in the streets we only had each other. I thought she was dead." Marinette turned and looked at him with her arms crossed. "You dumbass I literally can't die. I'm fucking immortal bitch." Jason gasped "watch your fucking profanity you little shit"

"BOTH OF YOU WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE" Dick yelled. People began to stare. "There ain't nothin to see here back to your business people." Jason added. "Hey Dick, do you mind if I do sit in my actual seat?" she asked. "Of course sunshine." Jason's voice was etched with fury, "Do. Not. Call. Her. Sunshine." Dick gave an awkward frightened thumbs up and opened his book. Marinette turned her back to Jason and leaned up against him and she slept.
