"Master Damian, Miss Marinette, you are aware that the Gala starts in an hour? I thought you were both already awake." Alfred was knocking on Marinette's door until Damian heard his footsteps dissapear. Damian took her fce in his hands. It was still warm, but not excessively hot. Her eyes opened and they were glazed. She smiled.
"Hi." Damian laughed and pecked her on the forehead. There was another knock at the door. It was Dick, he walked in. And rose a brow.
"Guys, the Gala starts in less than an hour GET UP." Damian scowled and threw a pillow at Dick.
"You know Grayson, nobody bothered me this much when I was dead." Dick rolled his eyes and Marinette turned around, shocked at that last statement. Her voice was soft.
"You died?" Dick's eyes widened and he ran away. Damian smirked,
"Yeah, well it didn't stick," he chuckled, Marinette frowned.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Damian shifted.
"It's not like a great conversation starter." She punched him in the shoulder and stood up. Everything was clear.
"See? I told you it was only stress." Damian jumped up.
"Maybe so, but at least the fever went down. Be prepared, tonight is going to bore you to death." she gave him a look and he shrugged. "It's true. Normally Grayson, Todd, Drake, and I, have a competition on who get get away with the dumbest of things." her face didn't change. "Ok, now that I've made it weird, I'm going to make my exit. We have about fourty five minutes so we should be fine." She laughed and kissed him on the cheek while pushing him out the door.
"See you later amoureuse." she shut the door and ran to her closet Tikki flew from her dresser.
"Are you looking for your dress Marinette? It's on the bathroom door." Marinette sighed in relif and pat Tikki on the head. She grabbed her shoes and ran into the bathroom for a quick shower. Hopefully, she won't be late.

Damian hated Gala's. Ever since he first arrived, he was either constantly pinched on the cheeks, or had to restrain himself from cutting the old lady's arm off. He just hated them. Hopefully with Marinette there, it won't be so boring. He slipped on his tux, constantly readjusting his tie. Bruce knocked on the door. Damian opened it annoyed.
"Hey kiddo, I hope you're ok in there. Everything is all set up and we have about twenty minutes until everyone starts arriving. Sound good?" He nodded and shut the door.
"Hey Plagg?" The little cat flew out with his arms crossed.
"Do you have an apology yet? Because my feelings are hurt." Damian rolled his eyes.
"Yes, I apologize for being so inconsiderate and rude. Now, I am NOT ready for this." Plagg chuckled and flew over to fix his tie.
"Relax kid, you got this. Also, you should style your hair differently. Not that it looks bad but not too much gel." Damian scrunched up his face.
"What do you mean by that?" Plagg smirked.
"Do you trust me?" Damian crossed his arms.
"Absoloutley not."
"Good. You'll look all spiffy when I'm done."

Jason walked through the front door and saw Alfred rushing.
"Yo Alfie, chill out. What's wrong?" Alfred looked relieved to see him.
