A/N - This is the next part of "Long Lists of Randomness!" where I list as many excuses as possible that you can give for being late for class or something. :P
All excuses are my own, with some inspiration from random people from random events from random times.

Excuses for Being Late:
- My leg's broken, and I'm wearing an invisible splint, which the doctors invented yesterday. I still need to wear the splint for seven more weeks, so expect more tardy days.
- I was abducted by the rare species of alien Hwarthoponial Marvasuline and sent to their planet for three alien-years, which equals 45 minutes of Earth time. I could write an essay on the extraterrestrial life there if you'd like. {if you really do have to write an essay, which you probably won't, just make up stuff. ;)}
- I'm not late, everyone else's just early. *sass* (creds to whoever made this up; I'd seen this one before)
- My [random relative] fed my [random pet] some [random food that is lethal or poisonous to said random pet] so it [random disgusting action in the past tense] on me.
- I was down with an extremely severe bout of an infectious disease last night that I do not know the name of. However I can tell you that I was coughing like mad, and sneezed more than you'll ever sneeze in your lifetime. I had to rush to the store to buy some medication this morning, so I am late. I'm alright now, though. *evil smile*
- My mode of transport had broken down. I hitchhiked my way here.
- My alarm clock, unbeknownst to me at the time, had been faulty, so I am now tardy, and that is basically all I can say on this matter. Blame it on the alarm clock, man.
- The traffic was, ugh, horrible. *act legitimately disgusted at the preposterousness of the traffic on that day*
