NUMBER TWO:
—
Hanako is fairly short for someone his age, but compared to Kou and Yashiro, he's pretty small.
But that's not a problem at all! Hanako wasn't really insecure of his height — in fact, he loves that he could perfectly hug Yashiro by the waist, as Yashiro can tell by the sudden intrusion of personal space that happens almost every time. So, no, it's not a problem.
Yashiro thought that she liked taller, charming boys better (princes who are portrayed in those fairytale books she'd fawn about), but she actually found it adorable that they're the same height. She could perfectly kiss his forehead without having to bother with pulling him down, or standing on her tippy-toes. She could just tilt her head and lean towards him.
Hanako is the perfect height for her.
Besides, if Hanako wanted to intimidate someone, he could just float a little higher above the ground and stare them down — and Yashiro knew this because he used this tactic before. At least once or twice. He even used this to see what it would've been like if Yashiro was way smaller than him; he didn't like it.
Maybe it was because he towered over her at that time and wasn't used to it, or maybe it was just because he didn't like that it wasn't him. And Yashiro was fine with that. Because, either way, no matter the height, Hanako would always make her heart flutter.
It's not the looks that matter, sure, let's go with that. But Yashiro actually loved him from the inside and out. No matter how short he is, or how strange he can be, he's the same Hanako that had saved her countless of times, made sure to make her laugh, and created the best memories with her — looks don't matter when you love the person by their heart.
So the second in the list of things she loves about Hanako: is his height, because it's endearing, and it instantly made her think twice about her preferences.

"Ah, Hanako-kun!" Yashiro beamed a smile at the apparition, who immediately paused from his work — he was staring outside of the window for some reason but Yashiro didn't want to ruin the mood — and turned to her, smiling, like he always did. "Hello!"
Hanako floated over to her and tackled her into a hug, face nuzzling her cheek. Yashiro's heart was set on fire at the simple, yet affectionate gesture. "Hey, Yashiro! You feeling better now?"
Yashiro coughed and dismissively waved the last sentence off. "I was always fine, Hanako-kun, it was nothing." She was the one who pulled away, giggling. It was nice that they're at eye-level so that she can stare right at his eyes without a neck pain or something. "It's toilet-cleaning day, again, huh?" Yashiro asked, faking a pout.
Hanako chuckled and raised his arm to ruffle her hair. "It is your job as my assistant, Yashiro! No complaints! I'll be sure to make you laugh the whole time!"
Yashiro smiled. "When it comes to making me happy, you don't even need to try."
