The Mistake (Harry Potter Fanfic)

Chapter 4- Hunting lesson with Nagini and dreams

A/n Hi, it's been... a few months since i updated this story. I haven't given up on this story yet, amazingly. Anyways, I've been stuck on this chapter for a while but i think i know what i want to do. Also, eating animals in this, so, if ya want, you can skip that part.

Tod followed Nagini out into the forest, that's near the Manor that Master was staying at, with curiosity flowing through him like a river. "Where are we going, Nagini?"

Nagini continued to slither through the forest, "We will be hunting for food."

Tod stayed silent after that and stopped as Nagini lifted her head up from the ground a bit and flicked out her tongue, smelling for prey. Tod lifted his head a bit, following her example, and started smelling for food. He caught the scent of a mouse and felt his hunting instincts kick in.

He slithered forward and waited for the mouse to come closer, making sure the mouse wouldn't detect him. When he saw the opportunity, he lunged forward and sank his fangs into mouse, putting venom into it, killing it. (Not the best description, i know.)

Tod quickly ate the mouse and looked back at Nagini to see her squeezing a bird to death and swallowing it. He watched in fascination as she swallowed the bird whole.

After she was finished, she let out a satsified, "That Thrussh tasssted guite nice, I might have to asssk Masssster if I he can give me more Thrussh."

Tod now wanted to try those birds to see if what she said about the taste was right or not. "Letsss hunt for a little bit more. I want to tasste that 'Thrusssh' you ssspeak of."

And so, they spent time hunting and eating. When they returned, they were guite satsified and "Master" could tell.

"Did you have a pleasssant meal, you two?" He asked in amusement.

"Yesss, Massster," the two hissed together as a response.

Tod spent the rest of the day having fun with Nagini as he nearly killed a rat, that was missing a foot, multiple times. He wanted to eat the rat but Nagini said that it was a servant to their Master, so he didn't, even though he kept showing the rat that he wished to kill it.

He fell into dreams at the end of that day. They were odd, he would see memories, dreams, he convinced himself, of a whale of a man and a thin-neck woman, and those weren't very pleasant. He would also have dreams of these two humans, a girl and a boy who he strangely reconginzed. Tod didn't think they were his memories but something told him they were.

'Whatever, I'll tell Master in the morning,' he thought to himself after he woke up from a dream in the middle of the night when "Master" and Nagini were away.

He dozed off again and was thrown into a dream again.

With Voldy, Nagini and the Death Eaters

Voldemort was holding a meeting with his followers, the Death Eaters, and he was bored.

Nagini was circling the Death Eaters in an attempt to frighten them, which sorta of worked, but was bored like Voldemort.

Severus Snape was watching the Dark Lord intently as he listened to the others report about their missions. He saw that Voldemort was bored and felt himself inwardly agree with the Dark Lord, this was incredibly boring.

Lucius Malfoy was glad that his son had given the Dark Lord what he wanted, the boy-who-lived, but was still terrified. Even though he was terrified, he felt that this was boring as there was nothing new to be heard. He could only hope that Severus had something new to report.

"My lord, there might be something of interest in what I have seen at Hogwarts."

Voldemort sighed, "Go ahead Severuss, enlighten us to what could possibly be happening at Hogwarts."

"Dumbledore has been told that Potter has gone missing," Severus told the bald snake-like man then paused. Voldemort made a "go on" motion with the hand that his head wasn't resting on. Severus looked directly into Voldemort's eyes, "He may have suspicions that you've taken him and has sent a group to search for him."

Voldemort lifted his head off his pale hand and looked amused, "Is that sso?"

Severus nodded and their lord let out a chuckle that horrified everyone, not Nagini because she didn't care, who listened.

"Foolish old man," he grinned with all his teeth. "Potter has fallen and Dumbledore will fall as well. Yes, Dumbledore will fall."

Dumbles/Bumbles will die like he does, falling off a tower.

Maybe Tod/Harry could kill him...

Ah, anyways, ima go, bye, enjoy this thing that i learned while reading about Baslisks.
