I told him that he should check our basement and that I'll check the attic. He ran to the basement and I walked to the door that's above the hallway near my room. I pulled on the string that was hanging from the small door on the roof and a set of ladders came down. I climbed up and My head poked into the attic. I never did like the attic. I entered and was now crawling, looking in boxes for a rope but I found nothing. I was about ready to give up when I saw a box in the corner of the attic. I crawled to it and read what was labeled on it. Equipment. I opened it up to see no rope but what looked like a hook. I took it and climbed out of the attic as fast as I could just incase my aunt was home. Kevin joined me the second I closed up the attic. He help up some rope that he found and I showed him the hook. We gave each other a nod and walked back to my room.
