I stayed there in silence for a moment looking at my mom. "I think you were having a horrible dream." She gave me the 'do I look like I agree on that' look. "I'm just saying it could be that." "How? It felt so real." "Mom some dreams can be like that. There are dreams that seem real or that are so bad that they wake you up from your sleep." "Maybe you're right." She rubbed the back of her neck. I finished eating and headed to my room. I changed my clothes, grabbed my phone and headed downstairs. "Mom I'm headed Kevin's house we're gonna play football." "Ok be back by eight thirty." "I will." I headed to the door. As I walked to my friend Kevin's house, Kelly stopped me on the way. "Faith wait." "Ya?" "Are you ok?" "I'm fine. Why?" "My mom heard the news about last night." I gave her a look. I didn't want her to think the same thing my mom did. "What about last night?" I said. "You know. The incident at the pizziera." "Kelly look, nothing happened look at me I'm fine. My mom said something like that but I was home all along." She looked at me like I were crazy. "You sure?" I gave her a nod.
