"Do you think this is how I wanted it to end, huh? After everything. I know you are upset but have you stopped to think how I've felt? I bet not once you have thought how I felt. Maybe this is why everything is so dysfunctional." I said truthfully.

You've finally made it to high school. How does it feel?" Rocky asks me.

"Uh not any different, is it meant to?" I question.

"I don't know but people seem to get excited about it so maybe."

"Well what did it feel like when you started high school?" I ask.

"You think my memory's that good?"

"It was only a year ago."

"Hey a year is enough time to forget something." Rocky defends.

I laugh at his stupidity.

"Don't worry Ross it will be fine." Rydel reassures me.

"Thanks but I was never worried." I tell everyone.

"Looks like we're here!" Ellington states.

"Enjoy your first day everyone." Rydel waves goodbye.

"Uh Rydel are you forgetting something?" Ellington asks.

"Oh sorry Ratliff, let's go." She apologises.

Rocky and I stand there confused.

"Rydel and I were going to get our schedules together but it seemed she had enough idea." Ratliff jokes.

Rydel rolls her eyes and laughs.

"Bye guys." She waves goodbye and walks off with Ratliff.

"So are you going to ditch me to?" I ask Rocky.

"I'll show you where to go but then I have people I need to see, but you'll meet other people in your year pretty fast." He tells me.

"Thanks..?" I say but it came out more like a question.

So if you didn't guess by now this is my first day of high school, so yes that makes me a freshman. Rocky is a Sophomore and Rydel and Ellingtion, also known as Ratliff, are Juniors. I also have another brother Riker who finished high school last year. Then a younger brother, Ryland, who is one year younger than me.

Pretty soon Rocky ditched me as well. He said he had "things to do and people to see" whatever that meant. I was on my way to my first class, drama. I was happy about this because l loved performing.

When it got to lunch I was on my own again. I didn't even know where to start looking for my siblings and Ratliff. There was this one kid I met in drama. He's name was Connor, he seemed alright. I wasn't going to be picky about who I sat with right now. I think I saw him sitting at a table by himself. Perfect opportunity to go up to him.

"Hey Connor." I greet him while sitting down.

All he does is look at me, great he doesn't remember me. Wow that is embarrassing.

"Sorry." I stutter out. I pick up my things and start to leave.

"Where are you going Ross?" Connor calls out.

"Oh I thought you didn't remember me because the way you stared at me." I answer him.

"Oh, no. I was just trying to figure out if I had seen you before. You look every familiar." He explains to me.
