"So what's going to happen now?"

"Nothing." She says emotionless.

I haven't seen Laura all day but we've been texting and we agreed to meet to have lunch together, just us. It's lunch now and I have something to tell her that I couldn't say over text. I was waiting for her now where I said I would.

I felt arms grip around my waist and someone attach themselves to me. I looked down and saw Laura smiling while hugging me tightly.

"You okay there?" I ask laughing.

"I missed you."

Laura let go and we hugged probably.

"I missed you too." I replied after pulling away from our hug.

Laura is in a very affectioned mood today, but I'm not complaining.

It's the end of the day and I've been trying to get a hold of Laura all day. Connor has finally convinced me to ask Laura out. Usually Laura doesn't rush out of class so fast like everyone else so because I was to nervous before class I decided to ask her after class. As everyone was getting ready to leave I watched Laura, she seemed rushed today. I pick up my speed to keep up with Laura.

"Laura, wait up!" I call out before she can leave.

She turns around but she still has this look that she is rushing and needs to be somewhere.

"Oh hey Ross."

"Hey, I, um I, have to ask you something." I stutter nervously.

She nods waiting for me to continue.

"Well I was just, uh, wondering.."

I can't believe I'm actually doing this after all this time.

"I'm sorry Ross but I really have to be somewhere. Ask me tomorrow though, okay? Bye." Laura apologises.

After that Laura was off. She raced down the halls like everyone else. I guess she has someone really important to be.

"Bye." I mumble to myself.

"I think we both know this was happening with the way things have been going."

I look over to Laura and see her nod her head while looking down.

This wasn't going to be easy I knew that. We loved each other too much, we were in too deep. There was only one way out.

"I wish this wasn't the way things ended. I wish something happened differently." I tell Laura.

Laura looked up to look at me and she had tears in her eyes.

"It wasn't like you weren't in control. Don't pretend you tried everything because we both no that's a lie." Laura says calmly but I know she isn't really calm which scares me the most.

"Laura things weren't right for some time now and nothing we did could have changed that."

We were now siting together privately away from everyone else. I didn't want to be interrupted. Right now Laura was telling me about her day and I was smiling to myself. I loved the way she explains her days to me. I makes me feel like I was really there.

"Then I found out there will be a test next week. I should be fine but I was hoping it wasn't straight away. I did have a feeling about this though so I was studding over the break. Annalyse was complaining to me how that wasn't fair but I told her that she could have studded if she wanted too, I also offered to help her study..." Laura continued talking about her day but I didn't mind.
