Meeting Jane

I had gym after lunch so I changed in the locker rooms. I pulled on my black pineapple trackies and my red tank top remained. I had a blue top to change into after.

I walked into the gym and saw the three 'head bitches' standing there. I walked to the corner of the room and stretched. I heard the door open and saw TJ. The head bitch glared at me.

"You look good" TJ laughed "And by the way, my barbie isn't my Barbie, she's Derek's. She just likes me. Her name's Audrina. Don't worry about her." He glanced down at my chest and I slapped him. He pulled me up from my stretch and looked in my eyes. I locked into his grey eyes and smiled. Not this again. We've had our 'last kiss'. There's only one last kiss and that means your lips are sealed from that person after.

TJ leaned in to kiss me, as he held my waist. I held back slightly when the coach called "ALRIGHT, PARTNER UP!" We both jumped and a girl came up to me.

"Hey wanna be partners? I'm Jane!" The quirky girl laughed.

"Sure" I smiled.

I took one last glance at TJ who was smiling at me with that amazing, heart-warming, chocolate-melting smile.

Jane and I stretched and as we did so she asked me "What have you after?".

"Art" I replied.

"OH MY GOD, ME TOO!"

I laughed. She seemed nice. She had brown hair, but it could easily be mistaken for blonde, she had big, blue eyes and she had quite pale skin. She was tall and seemed to be confident and proud.

"OK! Girls on one side, boys on the other!" Coach wailed.

The girls shuffled to the left of the hall while the boys ran to the right side. We all looked at each other, completely clueless.

"OK! Boys, ask a girl if she wants to dance" Coach said, smiling.

I saw the boys sigh or just suddenly jolt out of 'fairy world'. TJ walked towards his Barbie doll, Audrina, but he suddenly turned swiftly and sprinted over to me.

"Would you like to dance, Haley?" TJ smiled.

I nodded, but really, I wanted to kick him in the nuts. As TJ took my hand, I turned around the place to see who was with who. Derek was nearly on top of Audrina and Jane was with some other guy. That's when I caught his eyes. I didn't know his name, I'd never seen him before, but, there he was. He had amazing green shining eyes. His skin, was like...unexplainable. His skin shone and it was like sand from the beaches of Hawaii. He wore a black shirt, with grey jeans that were baggy, but not really baggy. His smile...I went weak in the knees.

It was black.....

TJ's P.O.V

(Thought I'd give it a try!)

Haley lay there, out cold. I really wanted to help her up, but my hands were cold. She lay limply. Then, the knew guy came over. I gave him a glare before he picked her up and carried her out. I ran out behind them.

"Hey, Tyler!" I called.

"Taylor, actually. Yes?" He smiled, turning towards me.

"That's Haley, she uh, faints alot. I know how to handle it"

"Doesn't seem so, though. You stood right beside her. Um, to me, that's not helping her or 'handling it'. Sorry mate, but-"

"Shut it, new guy, no one cares. Just get lost and give her here"

"Get lost comes first"

He ran off, up the stairs and around the corner. I chased him, hopelessness chasing me. I needed Haley like air. Like I needed...Haley...She's amazing...She hates my guts...God, I'm a douche bag. I couldn't see you hated me until today. Until Audrina....I have to kill that bitch...

I've let myself go. I hurt Haley. I hurt her. I nearly kissed her, but, I left her broken. Her heart doesn't need me...it needs someone else. I've gone out of my way for Haley. Before she moved at 14, I took her, I kissed her, I vowed I'd marry her in 2 years and then, I ran away and met Audrina. She's broken dude. She hates me.

I ran harder and harder.

"Haley" I breathed "Haley!"

I threw myself against the wall and cried. yes, a guy cried. Me, super-jerk-boy-that-made-Haley-the-one-he-loves-hate-him-guy. That was me. I wanted to kill myself right now. I looked around. There was the empty vegetable garden...I peered out the window before it was too late. I was out like a spark.....
