"Fuyumi, I have some plans after class this evening. I might just stop by to change but I'll be out quick. It'll be until late so don't worry about me when I'm gone."

Todoroki hangs up the call with his sister and walks on to class. He had seen a flyer on the class 1-A bulletin board and it had piqued his interest. He never got out much so he thought that even if he were to be alone, he should at least spend one night out on the town.

High school is supposed to be about fun and partying, so maybe I should give the festival a shot.

As he walked into the rambunctious and lively joint that was the 1-A classroom, next to him he could hear bits and pieces of conversation being held by three girls.

"So Momo, what do you think? Ochaco and I are most definitely going to the festival. I mean imagine all the good food that will be there!"

"Takoyaki, okonomiyaki, soba... "

"Need we say more?"

Hagakure and Ochaco went back and forth listing all the engaging and tempting aspects of the Ennichi festival. Of course, Momo didn't want to feel left out and it all seemed so fascinating and pleading to her but in the end, she decided to decline their offer.

"Hagakure, Ochaco, I'm truly sorry but I must decline your offer. I don't think my parents would be too pleased with me going out for fun, even if it's on a Friday night. I really do appreciate the sentiment though."

The two girls were left disappointed with Momo's rejection but they wouldn't let that get in the way of their fun. As Momo left off to head to her seat, the pair went on gushing about all the sweets that people would serve.

I wish I could go; if only my parents were more accepting of having fun every once in a while. It's all work with them.

Momo's thoughts saddened her, which caught the attention of her next-door neighbor, Todoroki.

"Yaoyorozu." Todoroki leaned towards her desk and asked: "Are you going to the Ennichi festival tonight?"

"I don't think so Todoroki. My parents would probably not approve of such activities and plus I have to study for exams coming up."

Before Todoroki could have a chance at answering, the class bell rang and Aizawa walked onto the podium. As usual, he gave his lecture and assignment before curling up into his dusty, yellow sleeping bag. There wasn't anything particularly enticing about that day's lesson so everyone just stayed silent and worked on whatever was in front of them. About an hour later, give or take, the ending bell rang. Aizawa perches out of his slumber and gave a quick reminder to his students. "Remember, you all have exams in about 3 weeks. Study hard and remember to also train for the hands-on exercise portion of the exam. Class dismissed."

As everyone exited into the corridors, Todoroki kept thinking to himself: Is she really not going? I guess it'll be hard to find someone I know tonight.
