When Naivety Turns To Love(GxG)

Well now I know that Emily and my Dad had a thing back in highschool. They were both in love in the first place especially Emily. Back then Marcus and my dad were not just the best of friends but also rivals I supposed and dad got the girl and they were like my dad said inlove but later then my dad pull out of love and saw that Marcus was very desperate to be in his place and loved Emily more than him and that's why he disappeared, cutting all his connection with him and there he meet my mom which is a country girl then just about a month ago he was offered a job with a more great opportunity by his best friend and then he known that his highschool lover and his best friend was long ago married and got two beautiful daughters.

That was a lot to take in but I'd managed last night before falling into slumber. Yesterday was really a hella roller coaster ride yet it was still my first day and it would be my second starting today.

I immediately ate my toast and bacon and egg before drinking water which I've much prefer today than orange juice.

I looked myself in the mirror and smiled at the embroidered uniform of the academy. Its beautiful. I thought while making a little twirl and laugh at myself for doing that.

"The killings was stop to a  halt since last week and there's no sign of it coming back. Should we be celebrating or still be alert, that's for all.

I grab the remote and shut the TV off and checked my things for the last time and locked our apartment before scurrying off to the elevator. Our apartment was in the 2nd floor out of the 4th floor. It was quite new and we got the opportunity to lived here. The prize is affordable like I said this is still new and it's clean, safe and very spacious for us. And besides its not far from the academy and my dads work place.

I've noticed dad inside the car and immediately went in the passenger seat.

The car ride was silent yet comfortable, just the radio roaring inside the car with a country song. This makes me miss home.

I grab my bag from the backseat as the car stop outside the academy's big gate.

"Bye dad. I love you", I said before kissing his cheeks.

" Bye Lorelei. Love you too. Take care, are you sure you'll just walk on your way home? I can—",he rambled but I cut him off giggling a bit.

"No dad we talked about this last night, it's your first day at work today and besides homes not far away from school", I reassured him smiling like a big girl.

" Okay, just be careful Lorelei ",dad said glancing at me with worry. I give him a thumbs up to assure him more with a big smile as I stuck my tongue out which cause him to chuckle.

" Okay be home after school",he said sternly but failed miserably as a smile crack in his face.

"Okay dad you're going to be late for your first day at work. Good luck", I said to him as I gesture for him to go. He nodded and glance at me one last time before maneuvering his car and left. Be careful too dad.

I watched dad's car until it was out of my sight before I felt some one tap my shoulder lightly and felt those shivers run down my spine as I face those beautiful yet mysterious green eyes who was now staring at me intently.

" Hi",I greeted her softly wondering if she's with Taylor or Taylor's brother, not that I like him or so.

She just smiled at me before greeting me back. We walked together inside the big field filled with grass and neatly cut grass sculpture of a horses by each side of the long road to the main building.
