When Naivety Turns To Love(GxG)

"Bye dad I'll be back sooner or later. I'm going now", I yelled as I put on my ankle black boots before escaping a long yawn and twisting the knob opened. I looked at my wrist watch, its almost 9.

" You sure you don't want me to drive you Lorelei",dad yelled back coming into my sight while loosening his tie a bit. He much more prefer no tie to work but unfortunately for him, his job prefers work attire with a red tie. I giggle at the thought.

"No dad you'll be late for your work, Bye love you", I kissed his cheek before leaving the house first, touching my pocket if I've my money and phone and keys or something and sigh of relief after realising I got it all on set.

Its sad though that dad got to work for Monday to Saturday but the pay from his work is very well off than his pay back home in our barn though its so much fun and relaxing. Actually he just got paid yesterday and we shared a father and daughter bonding in the supermarket buying groceries and other things we want, typical.

I hailed a taxi and got in before telling the driver the address and got 3 minutes left while the ride is going to be 15 minutes, I bet Lauren won't be happy about my lateness. I sigh as I glance outside by the window at the tall buildings and the buzzing streets.

Honestly I much prefer LA in night than morning, it shines more under the stars above. I paid the driver before stepping out of the cab. I stood outside Lauren's mansion and walked through the front gardened yard. Isn't it refreshing to be greeted first by different kind of beautiful flowers every since yesterday.

I knocked a few times on the white double doors instead of ringing the doorbell. The door opened and I was greeted by Greg, Lauren's grandfather with a wide smile before enveloping me into a hug.

"Lauren's been waiting for you Lori", he reminds while breaking from his fatherly tight hug. I smiled and nodded after greeting him a good morning. I meet him yesterday after his meeting in Orlando and he being nice is understatement. He welcomed me and even forced me to join them for dinner after I declined for the second time. I called dad that time that I would stayed for dinner and will coming back late, he agreed but 10's my curfew.

He really loved and adore cars almost like he adored his wife and his family and I almost awed in the two of them fighting about cars. They're just really cute and its clear that they loved each other dearly after been married for fourty years.

Kory joined us after a while and I greeted her before excusing myself to see Lauren. I walked past the modern stairs and into the halls that I've memories already and into the creamy white double doors. By the time it was now 9:20.

I knocked three times before opening it to see an unhappy Lauren as her lips seller tight sitting in her comfy queen size bed gracefully as always. She really is very well mannered.

"I'm so sorry Lauren, I lost track of the time", I apologized bowing my head in shame before I heard her giggle and it made me cracked a smile.

I sat beside her bed and leaned getting comfortable by the seconds, I've grown used to the smell of her jasmine scent in her bed as well as the expensive fabric conditioner in her blanket and pillow.

I didn't realized that I dozed off into sleep before feeling someone touched my cheeks softly. I ignored it for a bit and snuggled more into the sweet smelling and comfy pillow. I can get used to this.

Those delicate soft hands still caressed my checks and I began to opened my eyes slowly and got to face to face with Lauren. Her face is so close. Approximately too close.

My sudden waking up must startled her caused she back off a bit from her touching her chest while breathing fast. Opps.

I slowly sat up while yawning and stretching before my eyes landed on her dazzling crystal blue ones. It was a nice nap and I hadn't gotten to sleep that comfortable and nice in a long time now.
