Chapter 8-Sugar and Brownies

As the days passed by after the confession both became quiet engrossed in their works. Karan had been out for an international business trip and here his fiancee, Aadhira is quiet restless as she couldnt freely now move because she has been guearded by security. The reason is because after the confession day she have been recieving threat calls.

The phone buzzed. Buzzzz......

"yes whose this, aadhira speaking" she said with a happy tone.

"well well well...lucky ah...leave him or else....u will end in a very brutal way" and the phone got disconnected. The number couldn't be traced as it was from any landline pco's. She didn't inform Karan but then this was his first time for international trips and he knew his rivals may take advantage so he himself put four bodyguards , Daniel, Lazzaro, Max and Cruise. Four were devilishly handsome and muscular. But Aadhira's eyes were only one one man, Karan.

"Daniel plsss dont inform or else he will  leave his work"

"maam u r important to him than money" he looked at her with concern

"but I don't want...plsss we are friends right..don't plss" she pleaded now holding his hands

"okkk maam but if these calls increase then I have to inform" he sighed in defeat.

"ok"

Aadhira couldn't sleep properly for one day but today something uncanny happened with her. She was preparing to sleep after coming from hospital when a paperball came from window. She rushed to see who was that but there was none so she opened the paperball and started reading

Dear Aadhira,

Congratulations for your engagement, it was really awesome seeing him proposing you but what will you do with the ring if your man is only not alive. Your family is too in danger, leave him or else the day of your marriage will be the day you will mourn, mark my words. I have my people fitted in your manshion that even your bodygurads can't see, take your decisions wisely and don't make the wise move to inform someone else or else..goodluck.

Your Wellwisher.

Oh my god! so Karan's life is in danger , my family's life is in danger. What should I do? were only thoughts that were going in her mind but what will she do then.

She thought that love was just like sugar and brownies to her , one way chocklately and the other way dry, one way she will be happy ever with Karan but on the other was she will be sad marrying him...if she sacrifices then she will be able to let go of their lives. So she made her mind that she will leave everyone without any information and try to find on her own as who is after this.

She left that night without informing anyone, not even her bodyguards. She took the window for leaving but before that she wrote a note to everyone and kept that on bed. She ran as long as her legs carried her with only chanting Aadhira this is your Karan's life ,you have to save him.

I know indeed this story is going fast but since I chose it as short story so end will be soon, not now ofcourse. Hold till the end as to what happens next but next chapter will be a new highlight as what happens when both lovebirds meet again, what happens when truth comes infront of both...but then climax is still left.
