Chapter 5- Proposal

"Hey Karan...why don't you listen..marry dude..look at you" I  yelled as he moved towards his car almost in big steps. Then as his security opened the door he turned back and came near me and started saying

"Why? ...I am not ready for serious commitments" he put emphasize on 'why'

"you never had a girlfriend or any physical pursuits...I know you rent' good with clingy people and mostly around girls but see uncle and dadi is also..."

"stop this Aadhira...u know girls are after me for my money and looks" I said her irritatedly cupping her face. She sighed sadly so I finally said what I wanted to

"fine I will marry but  then I will tell everyone today night" She looked up me with a shock and started to yell

"you like someone...you didn't say your best friend...u r so screwed...."I calmed her and said turning round to go

"as you finish come in my office..."....she imitated me and said

"yeah yeah..I know ....my protector" and then I saw her car move out after which I went to my office.

Todays day was really tiring since I had five client international meetings and I knew Aadhira may have came already waiting. As I just finished the last one I said my assistant to complete the final touches and I rushed to my office. Entering I didn't see her...isn't she be here by now..what happened then I went out to see and saw her sitting quietly on a sofa placed for just designing purpose and drinking coffee.

"sorry Aadhira..." I yelled and then ran to her but then with my dismay...

She looked at me and then I saw that she was sad..she was crying...but why?

I went to her and kneeled before her ...she looked at me with tiring eyes 

"what happened" I could feel stares but then I glared at them and they went to continue their works and then I looked at her who is looking at me with teary eyes.

"Always everyone says that I don't fir into your class..ur standard,,just because I dont wear western clothes.."

"who said" as my blood boiled...

"s...ome o...f y..o...ur em..plo..yees" I understood even when she was sobbing and her words were in mere whisper..."th...ey  sa...y  m..e  e..ver...yday...but I don't like any mess...so I used to stay qui...te  but  today  they  said  you   kept  me because I pleased you with my body...with physical pursuits"and pulled me more close and I could feel how much she was embarrassed.I hugged her back and stood with her hugging position.

Her words were like daggers and I couldn't hold my anger anymore and how they dare to say her like this "who said this to you"

"that client whom you have signed a joining work over here...her daughter started"

"what?"

Then I could hear clicks of heels towards me and as I turned I saw Tania coming with irritating face ...

"oh so your drama ended I guess"as she smiled and coolly came but then I found Aadhira coming more close to me seeing her.

"see we are late...Karan pls drop me..."she said me holding my other arm but I jerked it off.

"how dare you" I yelled and then the whole office was now looking at us when I side hugged Adhira tightly and she looking at us...

"what? " she scowled back

"how dare you say a word to my fucking best friend" I yelled back at her again.

"why is that lie..."she said composing 

"don't..." my anger is now blowing out...

"why Karan why..what is there in her that's not in me...I mean look at her..how filthy she looks...and she could" she said at one go 

"you are no one to judge her....I will say what she has" I stopped to look at her and then continued

"she has patience..she has love for all, she has respect, she is epitome of real beauty, she is the woman whom any man can fall for easily and mostly she has  a golden heart and for fucking sake you don't even have a single thing that she has" I said at one breath and all this time she Aadhira was just looking at me without any emotions.

"you know my papa..." she scowled again...

"this is my empire for your information and yourfather have written that long ago but since you are his daughter so I kept mum but not now anymore and from today listen eryone...if anypne tried to come close to my girl I will fucking kill her..."

"but you like me not her" she shooted at us...

"yesss....you are right..I don't like her actually I love her and she is soon to be my fiancee"

"what....." and I could hear gasp....
