5.like a sister...

Denki's pov

I spent all day today trying to tell Jiro how I felt about Kirishima. Apparently, everyone thinks I've been acting strangely.

"um Denki?"
I looked to my right to see Jiro with a worried representation.

"are you ok? You've been acting unusual today..."
Said Jiro who was at this point sitting next to me on the couch in the common room. It seemed a few of my classmates were also looking at us with uneasy expressions on their faces.

"i- I'm fine, thanks for asking..."
I replied to Jiro while looking down at the floor.

"well I have something I need to tell you..."
Said Jiro, I could tell whatever she was about to say made her feel anxious.

"ok?"
I replied with a tone of curiosity in my voice.

"you know what... Never mind"
Said Jiro as she rapidly walked away.

I continued to sit on the couch and play my phone until I felt someone's hand grab mine.
In a state of shock, I looked up and saw that it was Kirishima.

He pulled me into the elevator and waited for the doors to close.

"what was that man?!"
Asked Kiri as soon as we were alone.

"what do you mean?"
I responded with an interested tone in my voice.

"something was clearly bothering her!"
Said Kirishima as he grabbed my shoulders and started shaking me back and forth.

"You need to make sure she's ok!"
Said Kirishima while putting his hands on his hips.

"fine..."
I said while pressing the button to open the elevator doors.

"you got this Denki!"
Declared Kirishima as I made my way out of the elevator.

I walked out of the elevator. She was in the kitchen drinking a glass of water I think...

"hey Jiro..."
I said while entering the kitchen.

"o-oh hey Denki"
Said Jiro as she put her cup in the sink with the rest of the dishes.

"what were you gonna say earlier?"
I said while trying not to make eye contact.

"Can we talk somewhere else?"
Said Jiro as she grabbed my hand and pulled me to the elevator.

Denki's dorm

"so..."
I said trying to end the awkward silence.

" I guess I should just be honest and tell you..."
Said Jiro while looking at the ground.

It's like she was burning holes threw her feet.

"i-i have a crush on someone..."
Said Jiro as her eyes started to tear up.

"w-what?"
I asked in pure shock.
Did Jiro also have a crush on someone else? Has she been trying to tell me this whole time?!

"don't cry!"
I said while pulling her in for a hug.

"who is it?"
I asked in a calm caring tone.

"momo..."
Said Jiro as a waterfall of tears fell from her eyes.

"Hey, it's fine!"
"you can date momo"
I said realizing that we both liked other people.

"but Denki I can't just do that to you!"
Said Jiro while digging her head into my neck and crying.

"its fine I like Kirishima anyway"
I said while giving her a reassuring look.

We talked all day, it was almost like talking to your sister.
Talking to someone you love more than anything.
