since kaoru is the youngest of the Hitachiin brothers
by a couple of minutes,

It was harder for y/n to get along with him,
than it was for y/n to get along with Hikaru.
Since Hikaru is more mischievous.
though y/n doesn't dislike kaoru, she just likes Hikaru more.
Their friendship is making the Twins drift apart and sometimes not even showing up at the host club.
everyone agrees theres something else going on
or they're planning something big.
Kaoru has been different ever since his twin and y/n have started hanging out more, he's become much lonely and almost out of guests!
most guest are there for their 'brotherly love' act but since there's only one brother, he cannot entertain his guest as he wishes.

When they arrived at the host club laughing like maniacs, Tamaki didn't waste no time to threaten.
"Listen here you idiots! We have been losing guests because of you, I recommend participating more or you will be dropped from the host club."
every host looked at Tamaki in shock and so did they.
kaoru budded in "Hikaru, you have been so selfish and Reckless! And I've been backing you up because I don't want you to get into any trouble but you should probably stop thinking of yourself for once and learn to-"
Hikaru then scoffed and scolded kaoru
"alright, if you choose to take their side..why don't you check everyone around you! they don't give you attention, they don't even bother to include you to anything,you are nothing without me! you're a pest to them."
Kaoru looked at Hikaru with a painful glare with hurt in his eyes as Hikaru was walking up to him.
"Hikaru.." kaoru said softly as his voice broke.
Each host looked worried and gave each other a 'someone do something' look. where's Haruhi when you need her.
Y/n looked scared of what Hikaru has become and got more terrified when she realized she had 'turned' Hikaru into what he is now, she backed up into the door and watched silently at their fighting.
"Why would you back me up!? I never said I needed your help! I would of been fine without you!" Hikaru screamed as he slammed his fist into the table next to him.
tears threaten his eyes but he holds in it, he knows this is hurting him and kaoru deep inside but he doesn't know how to stop.
his fist loosened on the table and leaned his head into kaoru while letting his tears run lose.
kaoru looked at Hikaru with a frightened expression but confused.
y/n then walked up to the hosts and waved them over while pointing to the door. She then lead them out and let Hikaru and kaoru have their moment.
Honey looking back at the twins on Mori-senpai's shoulders while whispering "please makeup Hika-Chan and kao-Chan..." as they left.

Hikaru let his tears run free,whispering under his breath while letting out quiet sobs
"I'm so sorry kaoru..."
kaoru didn't know what to do but stroke his hair
still a little tense.
"I don't know what I've become, I didn't mean it"
those were the words kaoru wanted to hear.
he lifted Hikaru's head and looked him in his eyes, whipping his tears with his thumbs while smiling.
"now hikaru...you're forgiven but you should makeup for it later"
he says with a wink. making both boys chuckle and hug.
they go sit as kaoru asked "is y/n changing you? or are you changing for her?"
hikaru looked shocked and looked at kaoru while shaking his head slowly.
They then sunk into the couch in the music room,
Hikaru put his elbow on the chair and rested his
hand on his chin while looking off to the distant as kaoru watched with a worried looked.
"I like her kaoru"
Kaoru looked a bit saddened by his words,looking down. hearing hikaru chuckle still looking off into the distance.
"Who would've thought she would change me"
"It's not good"
hikaru looked at him worried as kaoru spoke.
"she's taken you away from the host club
and even me"
hikaru put his hand on top of kaoru's looking at him and smiling.
"It's my fault, kaoru"
hikaru said but he just didn't want to hear the things
kaoru would say about y/n knowing it will hurt him.
