The pregnant she's hands are tangled in the sheets, her eyes closed as tight as she can keep them. She's uncomfortable and can't sleep. It's when she stands up and moves just one step away from the bed that has been hers for three weeks now that it all shifts.

Her orbs go wide as she looks down to the floor. She thought she had more time. Sure she was due any day now. She just didn't think this would happen while away from her mate.

"I can't believe i even thought about doing this again!"

Y/N shouts. Doing her best to remain centered and focused. Breathing like practiced. Finding a happy place and staying there as best as she can while another contraction hits. Her hands getting tighter in the sheets, she's sure any tighter they would rip.

Grace paces the living room floor, her hands patting at her hip as she waits for the person to pick it up on the other end. Why have a phone if you don't answer, she sighs. She's chewing at her nail, nervously. Kaylie is in the living room with Orson, bouncing him on her hip doing her best to keep the boy busy at all costs.

The whole house is on edge. Nerve wrecked.

"It's about fucking time Ryan!"

Grace snarls.

"I'm sorry babe. I've been rushing to get papers..."

Grace groans at the excuse, "Not the time."

She clears her throat realizing her frustration as she looks over to the stairway. The loud scream coming from the guest bedroom again. A set of sobs coming after. Grace frowns. Guess she lost the center she had found from earlier. Grace immediately feels bad for the she.

"Was that screaming?"

Ryan asks.

The papers in his hand dropping to the desk as he looks up to where two of the oldest brothers stood. Both Ricky and Chris doing the same as they stare back on high alert and ready to run for the house if need be.

"Y/N."

Ryan furrows his brow,

"What about her?"

Ryan shifts as he puts the phone on speaker. He admittedly feels guilty at hiding his brother's mate at his house. He had came clean. Since then, he's kept Chris up to date with the little things. He owes him that much. He would want the same if Grace ever did the same. After all, it's Chris pup and his mate. He deserves it. Even if what he did was wrong.

In which Chris had heard for two weeks before Ryan got tired of preaching to his eldest brother.

Grace sighs, a little overwhelmed. Her hand is in her blonde hair practically tugging as she tries to remain calm. Nothing good comes out of loosing it. Her tension is so high. She swears she will never have kids. Labor alone is scary and she can't even imagine the pain. Kaylie's following as well in the footsteps of being overwhelmed herself. It's been a very emotional two hours.
