We walk away from the Cheshire's lifeless body and go farther into the woods. We race faster than a headless horseman can ride, looking back and forth to check we are not being followed. As we run, our vision blurs the trees, shrubs, ferns, and flowers all into one. I feel powerful and mighty. Suddenly, I bump into a figure dressed in a silver coat and gray dress pants. I slowly look at the figure hoping for the best, but I am face to face with Mr. Mustang. A small figure steps out from behind him and I recognize Pengejar. She is still wearing the nightdress. I faint from the sight of the horrors and everything turns as black as night.

When I awake, I see Sarigala looming over me with his chest heaving in and out. His breaths are ragged as he chokes out to me, "I have defeated the beasts, the creatures of the night, the invisible and the ghost." I am about to thank him when he suddenly collapses in my hands and turns into dust. His pack seems to disappear just the same as their leader. I am suddenly all alone in the woods, with now one to talk to and nowhere to go. I sit down and cry. I cry for the loss of my friends, I cry for not knowing where to go, and it cry for the things that had to happen to me. As I cry, I feel my hands numbing and they turn into dust and then my arms, shoulders, chest, and finally my body collapses. I feel no pain and I realize, I am dead.
