I was sitting under the baobab tree looking at the sky. After my time in the dark under ground tunnels, I took the sky as something we were lucky to have. The fluffy white clouds drifted here and there in they sky, some had places to go and others were just there for the ride. I was in my own thoughts when I heard the Cheshire Cat purr out "Hello darling, I thought I could banish you down there forever so you could starve a wonderful death" with his silky voice. With a flash, he was close to me with his tail drawing circles down my back. His long claws were tracing under my head and a with a small swipe of his dagger like talons, blood came pouring out in a small trickle near my temple.

Then, I heard a twig crack somewhere off in the distance near where I was in the woods. "God, how many cats will attack me today?" I muttered aloud trying to free my hands from the tree I was tied to. For a paw, the Cheshire Cat had amazing skills for tying knots and fighting without an opposable thumb. I heard another twig break in the woods, but it was definitely closer than last time. A few minutes later, I heard another twig crack again. It was definitely closer, much closer the sound of the breaking twig rang again and again in my head. A large silhouette came bounding out of the woods. I recognized that figure almost at first glance, it was Sarigala! He had come to save me and I would not die for sure at the paws of Cheshire. He made a brave pose and his pack came slinking out of the shadows were they had been hiding. The cat and the wolf fought each other bravely. The cat swiping at Sarigala and Sarigala hitting him with a paw. This went on for some time until, when they both were tired and almost at their last breath, Sarigala opened his mouth and enclosed the Cheshire Cat's head and closed it shut. From the insides of Sarigala's mouth came a petrified scream and a gasp of air then silence. Sarigala spit out the cat and we walked away from that deathly spot after I was unbound form the tree. The Cheshire Cat was dead.
