16: cookies

Its been four months already. The time passed rather fast for Taehyung. He spend lot odlf time with his friendd. He met up with Hoseok and Jimin. He had explained it to Hoseok what him and jungkook. The older got angry at Jungkook but taehyung explained he was now trying to become a better person.

Jungkook opened the plastic box a bit cunfused who would even send him something. He didnt have anyone. He didnt even know if taehyung still tought about him. Its been almost three moths now.

Taehyung was starting to miss someone around him. He was living alone now. Of the money Jungkook had saved up of his years of work.

Taehyung was trying to get a job. It was difficult withoug having any experience. Jungkook never let him go to work, or learn.
But taehyung found something he really liked doing.

That was singing. Yoongi helped him with things he needed and to learn about making his own music. Taehyung had started on his first song already. He was exited to finish it and show it to others.

Now taehyung had met a new person who offered to teach him more about singing.

"thank you a lot, i learned new things"

"well you already sing very well, yoir voice is unique. And very soothing" the man said with a smile. Taehyung got shy of the compliment.

"thanks" he said and smiled shyly

"cutw, annyway that was all i can learn you now. You seem to be knowing a lot already"

"thank you annyway. It really helped!"

"anytime" the man grabbed his bag and got ready to leave. But before he left he turned around looking nervous all of the sudden. "do..Do you..Uhm" he hesetated..

"do you want to go on a date?" the man asked. Taehyung stared at him for a moment. He knew he missed someone at his side.

He missed having someone to love. Becasue his love was away, he was somewhere he cant get to him.

The offer was interesting to him. Yet he sighed and opened his mouth to speak.

"im sorry, i cant"

"why not?" the kan asked. He expected taehyung to say yes.

"i already have someone.."

"oh....I see, well im sorry to bother" the man apologized and left. Taehyung looked at him leaving and shook his head.

He was loyal.

He will wait.

Taehyung turned around and saw the photo of him and Jungkook on the table. Laying on a few books.

He grabbed it and looked at it. He was so happy here. He liked those times. This was the jungkook he fell in love with.

"will you be okay?" he asked "are you even okay.." he really wondered how jungkook was doing. He had called a while back but the women at the phone said jungkook had set his information as private.

Taehyung had sighed and felt worried over that. What if Jungkook was pushing hin away after this. Maybe he didnt even love taehyung anymore.

"i dont know.." taehyung sighed and walked to the kitchen. He turned on the oven and grabbed a bowl for the ingredients.

when he opened the box he stared at it and sat down on his bed. A small smile formed on his lips.

There were freshly baked cookies inside. The smell was so fammiliar. These were taehyungs, and they were jungkooks favorite.

But there was also a note inside.
Jungkook took it and read it,

To Jungkook,

I dont know if this will arrive. But i have made you something. If you like it...

Please keep going, you can do this.

I believe in you.

Jungkook smiled, he felt his heart warm at the words of taehyung.

He wanted to hug him. But he cant

This was a good thing. He didnt ask taehyung to make it. He did it himself. This was kindness and maybe love. Jungkook understood the difference sometimes. And this was one of them.

Yet jungkook had still he needed to learn to understand. Like it wasnt okay to force someone to do what you want even if they love you. And that you do not OWN the person.

Jungkook tasted  the cookie and almost felt like from the fammiliar taste. 

They were sweet and delicious, still jungkooks favorite. Its like they tasted better now he didnt fore him to make them?

Jungkook looked at the box with a lot of cookies. He will be wating them over a long time. Two for each day.

"thank you, Taehyung" he said to the picture next to his bed and smiled a bit.
