Healing Your Heart (BrokenStar x Wc! Reader)

You were laid down with BrokenTail near the burnt sycamore, you had been in ShadowClan for 3 moons now and there was nothing to be afraid of, however you have distanced yourself from going to gatherings, MudClaw couldn't hurt you if he didn't know were you went, however if he saw you at the gathering, it wouldn't go well.

"Are you ok Y/W/N?" BrokenTail mewed, cutting off your thoughts.

You nodded and smiled, "yes I'm fine, I was just... thinking."
BrokenTail seemed to stare of near the distance and snarled.

"Your thinking about him, aren't you? Well he won't hurt you anymore, remember that," BrokenTail mewed, placing his head on top of your's.

You smiled and sighed, melting into BrokenTail embrace, he licked your cheek, causing you to blush. "H-hey Y/W/N? I-I wanted to ask you something."

You stared into his warm amber eyes and tilted your head in confusion, "what is it?"

BrokenTail sat up, you followed his actions and kept your beautiful E/C gaze on him, The dark tabby stared at his paws for a moment, "Y/W/N, I've always Like you a-and I wanted to know if you-"

"BrokenTail! Y/W/N! We're going to attack the rats at the carrion place, get to camp now!" BlackFoot meowed. You nodded and sat up.

"Sorry BrokenTail we have to go," you murmured, the tabby just grumbled in response and followed you back to camp.

"Ah good you two are here!" Raggedstar mewed, "now I want you two along with FoxHeart, BlackFoot, BlizzardWing and NettleSpot to attack the rats at the Carrion place."

You looked at BrokenTail, he looked rather happy as if something was going to happen through this, "how about I lead the attack?"

Raggedstar nodded at this son, "yes that will be perfect."

You gave a stern look at your leader, "why are we attacking them anyway?"

"They attack a patrol earlier and I want them felt with."

"But what if one of us gets killed!" You snapped.

Raggedstar looked at you with a stern glare, "you should listen to your leader, I'm sure no one will die, since me son is leading the patrol."

You looked down at your paws and nodded, not wanting to make this any worse for yourself. You and the rest of the patrol headed out for the carrion place, you saw quite a lot of rats, you sank to the ground, knowing that it won't end well, "don't worry I'll protect you." You looked up to see BrokenTail towering above you, smiling warmly. You nodded and stud up, holding your head up high. "Now Attack!"

The patrol ran towards the rats, screeching and hissing, you ran in front because of your speed, the first few rats you saw you clawed them, from tail to chin, making them cut in half and instantly dying the rest of the cats in the patrol were doing well.

Suddenly you were surrounded by many rats you tried to swipe as many as you can, however one leaped on you biting on your shoulder, you yelled in pain and stumbled to the ground, you thought that your time was up until BrokenTail leaped in and killed half of the rats, the rest scurrying off, you thanked him, however once the rest of the rats fled, you noticed that everyone was ok except for FoxHeart, you tried to run as fast as you can to her, however your shoulder slowed you down.

Looking down and the orange tabby she-cat, you nudged her, but you got no response, many rat bites covered her pelt and you then realised she was dead.

"What's wrong?" BrokenTail murmured, BlackFoot, BlizzardWing and NettleSpot was behind him.

You stared at him, a sorrow look in your eyes, "FoxHeart walks with StarClan, now."

The patrol had carried FoxHeart's body back to camp for the rest of ShadowClan to mourn their loss, Raggedstar stayed close to The deputy's body, however after a long mourn the leader stepped into the clan rock, "sadly, we have lost our deputy FoxHeart, she was a good deputy and she would've made a wonderful leader," Raggedstar meowed, "before I appoint a deputy I have to give my apologies to Y/W/N, she said their was a risk of some cat dying in the attack but I don't listen."

You nodded as Raggedstar some accepting his apology, "now I shal appoint the new deputy." You looked to your left to see BrokenTail staring at his father with hopeful eyes, "I say these words before the body of FoxHeart, so she may hear and approve of my choice, the new deputy of ShadowClan will be CloudPelt."

You saw the ambition in BrokenTail's eyes drain as the tabby growled to himself and padded out of camp. You sighed and followed him, you stopped when he was sat near the thunderpath, you slowly approached him and sat next to him, "are you ok BrokenTail?"

The tabby kept his eyes on the quiet Thunderpath and sighed, "yes I'm fine, why did you follow me here?"

You flicked your tail slightly, "well I wanted so see if you were ok, plus didn't you want to tell me something before?"

BrokenTail ears flicked as he turned his attention to you, "umm y-yes I did."

You looked at him, your tail swiftly flicking, "go on."

"Well I've loved you ever since you helped him at the gathering when we were just apprentices and I was wondering if you wanted to be my mate?"

You gasped and blushed, you stud up and leaped at the tabby Tom, and smiled happily, "of course I'll be your mate you big mouse brain!"

Then you saw BrokenTail...cry? You looked down at him, as you were still pinning him down, "t-thank you, Y/W/N."

"F-for what?" You questioned.

"It's just, no one has ever cared about me this much, sure I have Raggedstar but I never really bonded with him."

You nuzzled into your mate's fur and purred, he purred and licked your head, "shouldn't we go back to camp?" BrokenTail mewed.

You lifted yourself off him, "you can, I'm going to stay here for a bit."

BrokenTail tilted his head, and reluctantly nodded and left to go back to camp.

You walked close to the thunderpath until you were close to the moonstone, you sighed as you stared at WindClan in the distance you sat their for a while until you decided to go back to camp, however you heard someone from behind you...

"So this is were you went, to get away from me..."
