Healing Your Heart (BrokenStar x Wc! Reader)

EagleWing was now being taken away to be buried by the elders, you sighed to yourself, even though it was the gathering, no one had slept from the rouges attacking and EagleWing's death. Before going to the gathering, you quickly left camp and grabbed some nearby blue bells, and carried them in your jaws. You waited for the elders to leave were they buried your son and sat by his grave, with a heavy heart, you placed the blue bells on the dirt and heavily sighed, you felt two pelts touch yours, on the left LionClaw and on the right BrokenStar.

"Don't worry Y/W/N, he's in a better place now," LionClaw whispered, "he'll watch over us with HollyKit and LarkKit in StarClan."

You leaned on BrokenStar's shoulder, LionClaw mover closer to your side, placing his tail on your shoulder to comfort you.  After a moment of Silence to mourn EagleWing BrokenStar slowly stud up and looked at you and LionClaw. "Come on you two," BrokenStar sighed, "its time to go to the gathering."

ShadowClan had arrived at the gathering later than usual, your trying to act positive, however the death of your son still weighed on your shoulders, you noticed DeadFoot walking up to you, you greeted him by giving a small nod as he sat down. "Hello Y/W/N, what took ShadowClan so long to arrive at the gathering?"

"Well rouges attacked ShadowClan, TigerClaw and MudClaw among them," you sighed, "everyone was having their wounds treated and, mourning this loss of EagleWing."

You started to shed a small tear, DeadFoot placed his tail on your shoulder, "it's ok, remember you'll get back at MudClaw someday!"

You smiled at him, thankful that he was the cat who acted like a father figure to you, "thanks DeadFoot, but were's AshFoot?"

"She has to stay in camp for a few moons, she's baring my kits." You smiled and congratulated him, you then looked around to see that RiverClan are nowhere to be seen.

That was until LeopardFur arrived at FourTrees with RiverClan, once the Gathering started LeopardFur sat next to the great rock, facing everyone. "I'll be speaking for RiverClan as our leader, CrookedStar has sadly passed away due to GreenCough."

"Then why aren't you up here with the rest of us?" TallStar mewed, LeopardFur flattened her ears.

"Well I'm not the new leader," Everyone gasped, you wondered why isn't she the leader, surely she is? She's RiverClan's deputy! "RiverClan's new leader will be arriving any moment now."

As she said that a dark tabby pelt emerged from the brambles, everyone stared in shock as the new leader of RiverClan, was TigerStar. You realised that MudClaw was behind him, along with the rouges that attack earlier today.

"T-TigerClaw, of ThunderClan?" TallStar sounded as shocked as everyone else, "What's going on here BlueStar?"

The blue she-cat kept her head low, "it's none of your business, RiverClan have turned their backs on us for bringing a traitor in their clan!"

TigerStar smirked. "I don't know what's so funny TigerStar, but you attacked my clan with your Rouges!" BrokenStar spat. You saw TallStar also angered, by the sight of MudClaw being in the clan all clans have turned their backs on RiverClan. Suddenly the moon was covered with clouds, lightning struck. "StarClan in angry! ShadowClan will be taking their leave."

"Us too, we don't want to communicate with RiverClan any longer!" TallStar growled, and left. BlueStar didn't say anything but she leaped of the great rock and signalled her clan to follow her back to camp, ShadowClan then took off.

After a few moons, the full moon was up, you just sighed, BrokenStar then sat beside you on the high rock. "I know you don't want to go to the gathering," he meowed, "but we have to, even if thunder, wind and shadow have turned their backs on the river." After a moment of silence you licked BrokenStar's cheek and smiled.

"Your right, all of the clans know that," you took a small pause, "I'm just wondering why LeopardFur would let TigerStar take over her clan." You stud up and left for camp to get ready for the gathering, BrokenStar followed close behind.

As everyone was at the next gathering, you noticed LionClaw looking over at one of the ginger cats in RiverClan, it definitely wasn't crimson however you saw that crimson was sat beside another ginger cat, being a Tom. "LionClaw? Can I talk to you a minute?" The lake tabby nodded and padded over to you, and sat down in front on you.

"What is it, Y/W/N?" He asked, you flicked your tail in annoyance at his happy behaviour.

"Who's the ginger she-cat over there?" You looked over at the ginger cat that LionClaw was staring at, she had white paws and a tipped tail, she had beautiful blue eyes and darker ginger flecks on her pelt.

"Ooh, that's Roxy, she's the beautiful daughter of Crimson and Flame," LionClaw sighed lovingly as he kept his warm, amber gaze on Roxy.

"Do you know the names of all of these rouges?" You meowed, trying not to sound angry.

LionClaw gave a small nod, he looked over at the white Dom with dark blue eyes that you fought in the attack, "that over there is Ice, the brother of Flame."

"Over near ice is Falcon, one of the strongest members in the group." He mewed as he looked over at a muscular dark tabby, a large scar going across his face."

You looked over at the dark blue Tom, "and who's that?"

"Crow." He meowed, "and theirs Jinx." You looked over to see a dark grey tabby she-cat with three white paws, she has piercing yellow eyes.

"Well their all intimidating," you whispered to yourself , slightly shivering as you looked over at all of them, "well except for Roxy."

You glanced over at LionClaw who was now sitting with some ThunderClan cats, you were beginning to wonder how LionClaw even got all of that information, "better keep an eye on him."

Once the leaders started the gathering, TigerStar tried to link all of the clans together. "Are you crazy, TigerStar?" TallStar growled, "their's no way I'm letting my clan do that."

FireStar glared at the tabby, "I'm sorry but I'm not joining with RiverClan!" TigerStar snarled.

"What about you BrokenStar? Surely you'll accept to form TigerClan?" BrokenStar didn't say anything, he glared at his paws, and after a few moments of tense silence, he looked up.

"No!" He spat, "there's always been four clans and your not going to change that!"

After the gathering, every cat was fast asleep, except for you, BrokenStar was sleeping next to you, his tail over you. Lifting you head up, you saw LionClaw walking out of camp. Carefully, you stud up and left the leaders den and followed your son to see were he was going.

You kept your body low, carefully padding across the murky ground and following LionClaw, that's when you saw Roxy on the other side of the Thunder path, lifting your head up you watched as LionClaw walked across the Thunder Path and nuzzle The ginger she-cat.

How could he? Was he betraying his clan? Not attacking one of the rouges that injured his clan? You kept your composure and slowly made your way back to camp, once you were back in the leaders den, you crouched beside BrokenStar and licked his cheek.

The tabby smiled and placed his tail back over you, with a smile you finally went to sleep.

Once the sun rose, the clan was all up and doing their duties, however you noticed that LionClaw hadn't woken up yet. You made your way over to the warriors den, to see that LionClaw was the only one still asleep.

"LionClaw," you meowed. No response. You heavily sighed in annoyance and padded over to his nest, "LionClaw! Wake up!" You snapped. The warrior woke up, alarmed, "it's about time you woke up."

You left the den without another word, however you noticed that some warriors from ThunderClan were here, "please ShadowClan we need your help!" MouseFur meowed, "TigerClan is attacking WindClan and there's more rouges there than normal.

"Fine! We will help," BrokenStar called, "Let's go ShadowClan!"

Cats yowled and darted off, you followed with LionClaw and headed for WindClan territory.
