(y/n) stood on the beach in the spot Steven told her to meet him at. She pulled out her phone and checked the time, it's twenty minutes past the time Steven was supposed to meet her.
(y/n) put her phone away and shivered when another cold wind hit her.
"(y/n)!"
The said girl turned around and saw the boy she's been waiting for running in her direction.
He stopped next to her and caught his breath.
"Sorry I'm late! Oh! Here!"
Steven took off his pink jacket and handed it to (y/n).
"O-oh, you don't have to."
"I want to." Steven smiled at her.
(Y/n) blushed and put on Steven's jacket. It felt warm and she never wanted to take it off.
"So, why did you want to meet me here?" (y/n) looked up at Steven.
He looked down at her with a nervous smile.
"Weelll, you know how I'm planning on leaving Beach City?"
"Yeah."
(y/n) looked down and frowned at the thought of Steven leaving.
"Do you want to come with me?"
"Huh?"
(Y/n) looked back up at Steven to see if he was joking or something.
"I want you to leave with me."
"Really?!"
She smiled at him and he smiled back.
"Of course! I love you, (y/n). I want you to stay with me."
Steven grabbed (y/n)'s hands and held them in his larger ones.
"I love you too, Steven!"
"So is that a yes or...?"
"Of course I'll go with you!"
She pulled Steven into a hug that he happily returned.
