Mark raises an eyebrow at the Renjun boy, who was just staring blankly back at them. All 6 boys were dead silent, observing one another, and it was making Chenle annoyed.

"What part of China are you from?"

Renjun looks to the small boy, raising a brow. "I lived in Jiling, near the border. What about you?"

"Shanghai. Part of the Zhong family."

Renjun's eyes widened at the sentence. He had always heard of the Zhong family, probably one of the most influential and wealthiest families in China. "I see..."

"Ok, let's stop speaking Chinese." Mark sighs, slightly peeved at the two boys. "Who are you and do you know what happened?" He turns to Renjun, a serious look in his eye.

Renjun sighs and rolls his eyes. "I'm Huang Renjun. I've been wandering around Seoul for the past couple of months, and no, I don't know what happened. I was studying in my dorm and the next thing I knew, I was in my college garden. I'm 18, by the way."

Mark nods along, taking in the information. He doesn't say anything, and instead gestures to Jaemin, silently telling the boy to check for any injuries. Jaemin nervously nods and steps out from behind Jeno hesitantly; the older reluctantly moves to the side to let the younger pass.

"Renjun-ah, Uhm, are you perhaps injured anywhere?" Jaemin slowly walks towards the boy, opening his satchel. "I'm a medic student, so if anything is in bad condition, I can help out."

Renjun nods in understanding before smiling gently. "No, I'm alright. My biggest issue is food, I haven't been eating a lot." Jaemin nods before turning back to Mark who then glances at Donghyuk. The boy sighs and nods his head, gesturing for the others to follow him.

"Come on, I had meat cooking thawing before we left. Let's head back."

Mark sighs and sits on his bed, stretching a bit. He had been talking to Chenle the past few weeks about giving everyone a weapon, because:

A) That boy couldn't be trusted with all the weapons himself.

And B) they all needed some form of self-defense.

Mark had more or less taken on the role of leader, he cared for the others, protected the others, and had general authority over everyone else. But it also meant he was left to make the final decisions and take on the most stress. And it was beginning to wear him out, especially with 5 other boys to look after.

"Mark...?" A knock on the door makes him open his eyes, speaking a soft 'come in' to whoever was behind the door. Donghyuk pokes his head in, a bowl of ramen in his hand. "You haven't eaten much today...So I made some quick ramen..." He enters the room fully, sitting down next to Mark and placing the bowl on the bedside table.

"Oh, thanks Hyuk. How has Renjun settled in?"

Donghyuk sighs and leans his hands against the mattress as he thinks. "As good as he can I suppose. Jaemin and Jeno are helping him out."

"And Chenle?"

"Locked up in his room. Nothing new." Donghyuk shrugs, glancing at the boy beside him. "Seriously Mark, you need to eat. If you want to survive, then eat." He says sternly, to which Mark sighs and silently takes the food.

"It's good."

"Well of course it is. You're looking at the best cook of the Apocalypse." Donghyuk puffs out his chest and tones his voice sassily, making Mark laugh out loud. It made Donghyuk happy to see his Hyung let loose, even for just a few minutes.

It made Donghyuk happy that he could make Mark Lee smile, even just a little bit.
