Epilogue

"You're the only one I want by my side..."

"For God's sake, you two. This is already the second time." stash of photos was thrown on the table. The photos were of them pictured by paparazzi, having their dates on different occasions, and the two coming in and out of the same apartment building.

"Tch. Why they took this one out of all the other days? I looked like a hobo in here." Baekhyun even had the luxury to joke around as he checked each photo of them. In return, Lisa kneed him underneath the table to take the matter seriously.

Right now, SM Entertainment called Lisa and Baekhyun to the office. Both were facing one of the heads of the management department. While Lisa's company, YG Entertainment, can't be bothered by the issue when Dispatch sent them the photos and let SM Entertainment handle the issue. It was known already to Dispatch and the industry that YG Entertainment doesn't get swayed and never defends its artists with any scandals. But SM is different. They either confirm their idols dating or make deals with the reporters.

One instance was last year's Dispatch year-end couple outing. Dispatch sent both companies photos of Baekhyun and Lisa that caused SM Entertainment into a havoc. They can't have the same backlash that Baekhyun and the company received when his first dating scandal broke out. So they settled with a different couple to sacrifice that they think won't receive much hate from the fans. It was a hard choice for them too, but they didn't have any choice. Paying a big sum to Dispatch wasn't a luxury to the company; they'd rather take the blow for a few months and wait for things to quiet down. Coming from the same groups of the two, they sacrificed and chose Kai and Jennie, which Dispatch also had photos of them.

So when 2019 came, Kai and Jennie's news broke out during the New Year. The response wasn't as bad as they expected. But the two groups weren't as active in social media platforms.

Lisa was very apologetic to Jennie and somehow closing herself from her members. She was blaming herself for letting Jennie take the blow. She wasn't even able to post a year-end thank you message for her fans, unlike her members. But Jennie comforted Lisa that it was fine, that Lisa didn't need to be harsh to herself since she and Kai were also photographed.

"Do you wanna reveal it?" the lady in front of them aimed the question to Baekhyun and had her attention only to him. Lisa was sweating in her seat as she saw the eyes of the staff scrutinized her boyfriend. Baekhyun looked at Lisa for a moment, their eyes met before he answered.

"No. I want to keep it private." He said firmly and showed Lisa a small smile but an assuring one. His answer made the staff sigh.

"Okay. I want both of you to be on low profile with your relationship and stay away from social media as much as possible especially you, Baekhyun." The staff looked at them both as she reprimanded the couple while pointing a finger at Baekhyun lastly.

"If you can leave us for a moment, Lisa? Thank you." The lady motioned Lisa that she's already done talking to her and that she needed a word with Baekhyun.

"It's okay, go. Wait for me outside." Baekhyun assured Lisa by holding her hands, with that Lisa bowed and excused herself.

Lisa was so nervous as she waited outside. She tried to stick her ear on the door to eavesdrop on their conversation. She hated how SM's doors were made of thick metal as she couldn't hear anything but her own breathing. She constantly checked her watch for the time. The 20 minutes that Baekhyun was inside felt like an hour for her.

As soon as Baekhyun came out of the room, Lisa instantly bombarded him questions. All he had was a smile on his face.

"So how did it go? Are we safe? What are they going to do? Are they going to sacrifice other people again? Or are they going to reveal us?" She questioned continuously not giving Baekhyun any opportunity to answer the first question.
