i slowly trudged back into my house after standing in the rain for 10 minutes trying to make sense of what will said. what was my fault? i went downstairs by lucas. lucas kept staring at me, but i wasn't sure why. "mike?" lucas finally broke the silence.

"huh?" i said barely aware of my surroundings, trying to understand what will was talking about. "oh yeah, what were you going to say?"
"are you ok mike," lucas cautiously asked.
"if anything, i'm confused" i replied scratching my head.

"well what happened up there with will?" lucas interrogated. i told him every last detail of will and i's conversation. lucas looked just as confused.

"it's probably nothing," i said lying to myself. i knew it wasn't nothing. "he most likely just got caught up in the moment," i said, lying to myself again.
