The next day ..
Keshia meets up with Mimi , jasmine & Bianca in the cafeteria
"Guess what happened to me yesterday?!" Keshia says
In sync all three girls respond
"What!?"
"Darius came up to me yesterday after school and complimented my smile, I was soo nervous."
"You better grab him before I do ." Says Mimi
"Girl hush , you better not mess with Darius ." Says Bianca
A couple of minutes go by Darius walks up to Keshia & the other girls
"Hey ladies"
"Heyyy" all fours girls said
"Keshia you wanna sit with me for lunch ?"
"Sure , I don't mind"
As Keshia walks by Darius side she looks back at her friends reading Jasmines lips
"Stay calm girl , you got this ."

Darius and Keshia start to walk too the a table across the cafeteria
"So Keshia , what activities do you plan on doing this year ?"
"I'm not for sure yet , maybe cheerleading & join SGA , I would love to run for freshmen president ."
"So that mean you might be on the side lines cheering for me ?"
They both laugh , they sit down at the table
They continue to talk , lunch finally ended

"I love talking to you" Darius said to Keshia
Keshia smiles
"I love talking to you also."
"Let me take your number down , I still have a lot I wanna talk about with you ."
Darius pulls out his phone , Keshia types in her phone number
"Thanks, let me walk you to class."

Keshia starts to think to herself, he's so sweet & cute , plays football and his vibe is amazing
They both finally get to Keshia's class
"Thank you ."
Darius gives Keshia a tight hug

Keshia walks into class smiling , in the back she sees Bianca ,she starts to walk towards the back of the class
"Hey B"
"Hey girl , how was it with Darius ?"
"Great , he's so sweet!"
"Happy for you , just take your time it's only the second day of school & be careful because what Mimi said earlier had me questioning if she was a real friend, so I'm telling you watch your back."
Keshia nods her head

"Afternoon hope everyone had a great lunch , I definitely did, but class please take out a piece of paper , we're having a pop quiz."
Says Mr. William
Time goes by

The bells rings
Class is now over

Keshia and Bianca turns their quizzes in as they walk out the class room. Keshia takes out her phone and sees a small paragraph from Darius.

"I know you won't see this till after class , but look Keshia I know we just started conversing yesterday, but I've always had a crush on you ever since 6th grade but you would never look my way & you finally did , your beautiful & I wanna see where this goes."

Keshia smiles very hard at her phone , walking up to Mimi and jasmine
"What you smiling so hard for ?" Mimi asked.
"None of your business, dang!"
"Oh so that what's we doing now ?, keeping secrets from each other." Mimi replies rolling her eyes
"I'm not hiding nothing from you , if I don't wanna tell you I don't have too , respect that or you can go somewhere with your noisy self."
Mimi rolled her eyes and walked away from the group.

"See what I told you Keshia , be careful with her."
Bianca said .

A couple of weeks went by
......

Keshia Calls Mimi
"What do you want?" Said Mimi as she answered her phone .
"What's your problem ? You've ghosted me , jasmine and Bianca. Nor do we see you around school anymore , you've been acting real distant."
"Acting ? Keshia as you can see I don't wanna be y'all friend anymore , I'm staying to myself and out your way , I don't see the problem."
"Girl we've been friends since 6th grade and all of sudden you don't wanna be our friends no more , for what? We don't know but whatever . You and your stank ass attitude can stay over there."
Keshia hangs up the phone
That's when it all begins , high school is a crazy rollercoaster. Keshia lost a friend who was a like a sister. She starts to think too herself , is she mad cause I talk to Darius or what. Keshia just found it very strange that Mimi stopped talking to her like that after 3 years of being good friends.

"KESHIA COME HERE!" Her mom yells from the other side of their house .
"COMING!"
"What was that conversation about between you and Mimi ?"
"Ma , honestly I don't know ever since me and Darius started talking she's been acting strange , real distant . Then she'll go on Instagram and say slick things"
Keshia pulls out her phone
" see look , she just posted, if I really want your man I can have him."
"Look here young lady , do not feed into that mess  because she is jealous, your smart , pretty nor are you like any of these other girls . So be it , I understand you and Mimi were friends for a long time but as you can see she's really not your friend if she's acting this way to you , baby this is only the beginning of your high school career."
