Distractions.

A couple of weeks went by , Keshia had cancelled her birthday. She also felt as though her summer was ruined. Darius is in jail , Bianca and jasmine both went out of town for the summer. Keshia's mom was stressing to her that she is now sixteen , she should look for a job. Instead of crying all day.

Keshia received an unknown call ..
"Hello?"
"Keshia it's me Darius , look let me explain everything I only have ten minutes on the phone and it's a line of other guys waiting.."
Darius was speaking very fast ..
"Darius calm down and slow down."Keshia said
"Alright so when Tyrone came over he -"
"Darius , I know you didn't do it you don't have to explain yourself to me. I've always had a iffy feeling about him . But do you know when your getting out?
"Nah , I go to court June 20th , will you come please?"
"Yes , I'll be there."
Their was a minute left on the phone
"Keshia I'm about to go , I appreciate and love you."
The phone hung up. Keshia walked to her room and grabbed her laptop. She began searching for jobs. Keshia's mom peeked around the corner.
"Was that Darius?"
"Yes , he has a court June 20th , I told him I'll be there ."
"Do you think he did it ?"
Keshia gets up from her bed
"Ma, no he didn't do , Tyrone did but in all honesty Mimi has something up here sleeve . She always been messy . First she disrespected me , then I almost went to jail because her mom lied. She's always keeping up some kind of drama."
Keshia sat back down and grabbed her computer
"Well , you need to watch out for those snakes , they come in all kind of disguises ." Keshia's mom replied as she walked out the room.
Keshia's phone rang , it was an incoming FaceTime call from Bianca.
"Hey B."
"Hey girl , I was just calling to check on you , and how's Darius ?"
"I'm okay , my mom said I need to get a job & I spoke to him not too long ago he has court June 20th."
"Hopefully, you hear some good news when you go there."
"Yea I hope so too."
"But Keshia I also gotta tell you something else I don't how true it is but it's about Mimi ."
Keshia hangs up the phone.
Keshia started to feel as though anytime she would hear Mimi's name it's always something bad.

The next day . Keshia checks her email.
"We want to thank you for applying for a crew member, we would like to schedule an interview for Friday morning at 8:30, we hope to see you there" - Chic-Fil-A crew.
Keshia texts her mom , letting her know she has an interview Friday.
