*2 weeks later*
It's been a blur lately. I have been working hard in school but by Friday, I couldn't remember half of the week. I could remember some but not much, I think it's because of lack of sleep.
I have been worrying my friends somehow and I don't know why or how. When one day Faith told me that she, Molly, and Jessica have been talking when I was in the lunch line or something and decided that they were all worried for me. When I asked why, all she said is that I have been acting weird since the day I found the breakup notes in my locker and after Evan asked me out, that I seemed a little more not myself, but I seemed even more out of it when I found the notes. I told her that a little change is nothing and it's just their imagination, but she wasn't taking none of it so now, every once in a while I catch them giving me sympathetic looks or something and it aggravates me because I'm fine and am way over him. But then I give up I'll let them think what they want to think, but I know the truth.
It's been a week or two and I think they're finally over the fact that they think I'm a little different. Also did I mention that I might've accidentally gave Faith, Molly and Jessica permission to find me a boyfriend and now Faith and Molly, Jessica didn't want to, are asking practically every guy in the grade, within reason, to be my boyfriend. One night me and Faith were talking over the phone. She wanted me to do a favor for her so I made her a deal. If she would tell Dylan that I'm sorry, I would do her favor.
So Monday at lunch, she went to the table Dylan was sitting at and told him. Later that day, he came by my locker and said that he was sorry too. Then he walked away before I could ask why he was saying sorry. I walked to my bus and sat at the back because I could and I was letting no one tell me where I could sit because I had every right and just because they were older didn't and still doesn't mean that they could tell me what to do.
*one week later on Thursday, the last week of school before winter break*
It's time to leave for the Link field trip and I'm so excited. When I see Evan walk in through the student center doors where everyone was gathering I was shocked because I didn't know he was in Link.
When we got on the buses I sat by the window next to Faith on the way there and she only said I could sit by the window on the way back to so she could sit next to her boyfriend Rodger, who was in the seat next to us with two of his buddies in the same seat. Then we were off to the Jonesboro movies and bowling center/laser tag. The movie was awesome and funny, but when we got to the bowling center/ laser tag was when I was really starting to having fun. Me and a few friends played a couple of rounds of bowling before we decided to go play laser tag.
During laser tag, I was on the red team while Faith was on the green. We had fun although I didn't see her and shoot her, I found out I was pretty good at aiming towards the target from the bridge. When I was on the bridge in the middle of the arena and I shot through the bars of the railing and hit the the other teams goal and since I was hiding behind a blind the other team could not find me and I was able to score a couple hundred points. I was finally able to help my team win. And we did win, although the other team was really good too.
After laser tag, my friends and I went back to bowling and found one lane open, the lane was next to Evans lane. I was avoiding him the best I could only to be in the bowling lane right next to his. Talk about good luck, note the sarcasm. I was taking out my iPad to take pictures realizing I didn't get any yet and I called my friends over to our table which was in front of our lane. We took a few group photos and some with just one or two people in with me. When I was looking through the pictures, I went back at a photo I took with me and Faith, and I realized we were photo bombed by Evan. He was in the gap between our heads smiling at the camera. After I showed Faith the photo I turned around and there he was.
"That's a good photo" he said grinning like a mad man.
"You photo bombed me and Faith on purpose!" I kinda yelled, but not really.
"Yeah, why did you do that!?" Faith exclaimed.
"Aww I'm sorry" he went to hug Faith but ended up mostly putting her in a headlock ruffling up her hair.
"Hey stop it!!" She said mad at him
"Hey she said stop it" I smacked his arm making sure I didn't hit Faith and pulled his arm off.
After he finally let go Faith said that she was going to go over by her boyfriend, Rodger, who was at least ten lanes down from us. After she left Evan came by me.
"I'm sorry, give me a hug" before I could step back or even protest I was in a hug.
"Remove your arms now" I said struggling to get out.
"Fine, why don't you want a hug?"
"Because"
"Why"
"Because I don't hug guys"
"What?!"
And I ran on the other side of the table and he finally left me alone......for a little bit.
When it was forty minutes before we had to leave, Faith came back and I decided to take a selfie with her.
After our selfies, I asked her to take a full body picture of me, before she could Evan said he would, which I didn't know he was listening, and Faith actually gave my iPad to him!!! Some friend, just kidding. He took at least ten pictures and would of took more if I hadn't took my iPad back. As me, Faith, and Evan looked through the photos he took and we couldn't help but laugh because they were all blurry.
"Evan, you are terrible at taking pictures!!!!" I laughed out.
"What, no I'm not!!!" He said with a fake hurt face with his hand over his heart.
"Yes, you are!!" Me and Faith said at the same time.
"Am not"
"Are too, and end of conversation" I said quickly knowing he would keep saying am not.
"Faith could you please take a picture of me"
"Yeah and don't worry I'll take a better photo"
"Thanks Faith"
"Your welcome"
After she took the picture I looked at it and smiled.
"It is better than the one Evan took" I said giggling.
"Hey I heard that" Evan said from behind us and we both laughed.
"You were kinda suppose too" Faith said reading my mind out loud like she normally does.
"He had that coming and payback is a butt." I whispered to Faith.
"Yeah your right" and we giggled some more.
By that time it was time to go and we loaded the buses and headed home.
The ride was quiet cause I was reading while Faith was talking to her boyfriend.
When we got to school And it was time for our last class. We all headed our own separate ways except me and two friends named Shay, and Anne. We all had the same last hour class. When we got in the classroom we saw only our teacher, Mrs.Narshell. Mrs.Narshell is a woman in her late sixties and kind. She also sometimes acts our age just to joke around when some of the kids bring up their relationship problems, like anyone wants to know.
"All the students are in the library if you want to go or you can go to the computer lab or stay here." Mrs.Narshell said.
We all decided to stay there and joke around, draw on the board and Shay was writing how she loved Andrew Hopis on a balloon she bought at the bowling center. She also wrote all the guys names in the class on there and said she loved them all and we all laughed including the teacher. We laughed even more when one of the guys in our class came back from the computer lab and asked if he could sign it seeing as she was writing all over it. She said yeah and turned the ballon on the opposite side of where it said she loved him in big letters. After he wrote Dacke Shockley and handed her back the balloon, Mrs.Narshell said laughing "why don't you show him the whole ballon?"
"What's on the balloon?" Dacke asked now curious about the ballon
"Here" Shay said as she turned it over to his name.
"Well what else could you about this" Dacke said gesturing to his body.
Everyone, which is all girls my I remind you, said "ewww" in unison and burst into laughter afterwards.
After a few more minutes and one Christmas tree drawing on the board from me, Ryan came in the room and looked on Shays side of the board as did I and saw she made a list of boys she loved which was almost half of the guys in the grade while Anne made an annoying boys list and asked for my help. We name almost every guy in the grade except for a few who were really not annoying.
Then the bell rang signaling everyone it was time to go home.
The next day, I hung out with two different gangs that I don't really hang out with since no one from mine was at school and I was the only one. I hung out with them the whole day because there was at least one person from one of the gangs in each class before lunch. After lunch I stayed in my math teachers room because she is one of my last three classes and my other teachers said I could stay with her since it was a do whatever you want day plus three teachers were going against a big group of seventh graders in Taboo and still won seventy-something to forty-five.
After that game we just hung out and Evan came in the room. I didn't really pay attention to him except whenever he was bridle style carrying Derek who was 4'1, in seventh grade and was kidding and screaming at him to put him down then I got up and told him to put I'm down and like always Evan listened and set Derek down on the desk. The rest of the day went by fast and then we all headed to our buses and since there was no high schoolers on the bus I got to sit at the very back which is very fun may I include. And then that was it, the end of 2014, wow.
