High school confusion part 3
" Umm... We've got to go before we're late to class." I said. I just wanted to get of weird situation. I got my backpack and ran out of the library. I got to my first period class, which was gym, I saw my friend Lauren sitting alone. I was glad that she was in my gym class.
" hey Lauren. How are you?" I sat right next to her. Lauren was on the fencing team with Mary. Lauren was nicest person in the world. She was chubby but not to the point where she is fat. She had really curly brown hair that would always be tied up into a ponytail. She had front side bangs that hung above her eyes. She had green eyes that said everything with her life was amazing.
" it was great." see what I mean.
" what did you do?" I have this thing with eyes. Eyes would always tell me a different story. They me what kind of emotions they were feeling. Lauren told what she did during the summer. She went to Italy to visit her family members. Our gym teacher said we wouldn't have classes today and that we could just relax after he called attendence. I said here when my name was called. Lauren and I kept talking about what happened during the summer. Then before I realized what time it was the bell rang for us to go to our next class. I got my iTouch out of my bag and stuck my earbuds into my ear. I put on 'Just the Way You Are' by Bruno Mars. If anyone hasn't heard that song I would kill them. That was the best song ever. I walked into the hallways nodding my head back and forth. When I heard this song I would always think of Karen. She would fuss about her hair not being part right or if it looked horrible that day. I would tell her that she was perfect the way she was. Which was true. I would see her this period. My cooking was on the other side of the school. I was looking at my iPod when I got knocked in to someone. She dropped her book when the collesion happened.
" I'm really sorry. Are you ok?" I asked while grabbing her books from the floor.
"Yea I'm fine. That was nothing. You should see the head butts my brothers give me." I couldn't help but laugh at that statement.
" I know what you mean. I've got a little brother who does that to wake me up. Let's say i've got a headache in the morning before I've even started my day." I got all the books from the floor and gave it back to her. I looked at the mystery girl that I banged into. She was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. She had the most amazing green eyes I've ever seen. She had freckles around her nose and cheeks. She had dirty blond hair that was above her shoulders. She had the an amazing body. That showed some curves. She was the same height as me.
" Well I've got to go find my class. I'll see you around." mystery girl said. With that she winked at me and left. OMG she winked at me. The warning bell rang I ran down the hallway to the cooking room. The only thing that was on my mind was the mystery girl. I got into the room right before the bell rang. I saw Karen sitting next to a guy that was a junior and there was an empty seat next to her. I sat in the empty seat. She looked at me smiling but behind the smile I knew something was wrong. I looked into her eyes. Her eyes were puffed up as if she was crying. Her makeup was messed up. I felt so guilty right now. But why would I feel guilty? I haven't done anything to her for her to cry. Why does this girl affect me so. I have to know what happened to her and why she left in the morning.
Karen's POV (back in the cafeteria)
I was looking at Lindsay sitting across from me. She looked so beautiful sitting there from the with the sunlight lighting up her eyes. I grabbed a piece of gum from my bag. She started talking to to Katya. They were talking about what they did that summer.
" it was cool. I went to Europe with the family. I heard you got a new boo." katya said. That's when I choked on the gum in my mouth. I didn't know she had a boyfriend.
