Author's POV

Kidou Yuuto.He was the captain of Teikou Gakuen's soccer club.A genius when it comes to studying.And the only one who got the guts to go up against Kageyama Reji.The traits that made him very well known.

With all of these quality's there were flaws that followed.Although being known in lots of different places.He was never the type to fall in love.

For Kidou he never really thought about being in a relationship.He's tried by the force of his friends but he wasn't that good at talking to girls.

He sighed brushing away these thoughts and gently opened the door to his mansion.The mansion was huge but yet a bit lonely but he didn't mind since he liked the quiet.

"Kidou sama welcome home."Hakamanda his butler said bowing down as respect.

"Thank you."Kidou said he walked up to his room.And dropped his bag on his bed.He dropped himself down looking up at the cieling.

Sometimes he wondered what's so important about falling in love.He's never felt so he didn't know.And never dared to ask his friends since they'l go collecting girls from the streets for him.

He chuckled at the thought.The door was knocked which made him jolt up.

"Sir.Your father would like to see you downstairs."His butler spoke from the other side of the door.

"Okay.I'll be there in five."He sat up with a deep sigh.

"Guess it's fancy dinner...again."He muttered rolling his eyes.He walked down the stairs.

On the table there sat his father with a serious look on his face.He then noticed there were two other people with him.

There sat a man about same age as his own father.Next to him sat a h/c girl.Her e/c orb looking around the place uncomfortably.

Their eyes met.They held their eye contact for a while till it was broke with a cough.

"Kidou.Please take a seat."His father spoke after clearing his throat.Kidou nodded and did as he dad said and took a seat next to his father opposite the h/c girl.

"Kidou meet Y/N L/N and her father L/N."His father introduced gesturing to them both.

"Nice to meet you."Y/N and Kidou said at the same time causing them both to blush and look away.

His father and Y/n's ended up talking for a long time.Y/N and Kidou decided to start there own coversation.

The more Kidou got to know Y/N the more he felt a weird sensation build up inside him.

"So...we have arranged a marriage for you two."Y/N's father started.Making Kidou nearly choke on his water.

"Arranged?But why dad?!I never allowed this!"Y/N argued slamming her hand on the table.

"I agree with Y/N.We didn't agree to this."Kidou debated.Y/N flashed him a smile saying 'thank you.'Making his cheeks heat up but he kept his composure.

"Look.Were doing this for your own sake."Kidou's father stood up strictly.

"Bu-"Y/N started.

"Listen Y/N.This marriage will help our family and the Kidou family.And it's tradition Kidou's father agreed to this already and we can't just leave it now."Y/N's father said.

"At least try to get to know each other if you two don't feel the same way by your engagement ceremony we'll call the wedding off okay?"Kidou's father spoke.

The two of them looked down.They could at least try this right.

"Okay....fine."They both said.

The two were sitting in the park under the sunset.They followed their father's advice and tried getting along which to their surprise they actually liked being friends and hanging out together.

Y/N head fell against Kidou's shoulder.As the dread lock blushed.

"The sunset is beautiful today.."Y/N hummed looking at it.

He felt his heart thump vigorously.His hands dropped and wrapped around Y/N's waist all on it's own causing them both to blush.

"Huh?Kidou..."Y/N looked up at him their eyes meeting in sync.Kidou noticed she was blushing a lot by the contact he just made.

"It's nothing...."He shook his head but his hands still didn't move confusing the h/c girl.

"Okay."She smiled and went back to looking at the sunset.They stayed like that in the same position for a while till the sky began getting reminding Kidou.

"Come on Y/N.It's getting dark."Kidou stood up holding out his hand to her which she took with a little hesitation.

The walk to Y/N's house was quite a walk.So Kidou decided to break the silence.

"Y/n?"He called her out she looked up at him with a small 'yes'

"Are you okay with this arranged marriage?"He asked the question that was stuck in his throat for so long.He felt a hand hold his he looked at Y/N she had a bright smile on her face.

"Well really I don't mind.At first I wasn't happy since they never told neither of us.But I'm happy it's someone as nice as you."She said with a small smile.Kidou felt his heart explode into glitter hearing it.

"See you tomorrow Yuuto."She called him by his first name which made him shocked.

But that wasn't the biggest shock brought to him.He felt a pair of lips on his cheek.

"Bye."She whispered before letting go of his hand and entering her house waving back at him.

He touched his cheek a small smile stretched on his lips.

"Maybe this arranged marriage isn't so bad..."He muttered before turning walking off.
