Until I Remember You

Chapter 6: Emma Confrontation

Noah and Dawn went to the pilot's office. "Noah my man!" Henry, Noah's best friend went to him and gave the handshake. They've been best friend since middle school. Henry looked at Dawn and smiled at her. "Bro! she's mine" Noah looked at Henry and they laughed. Noah asked Dawn to stay at the office while they went to the meeting. Dawn just nodded. Before Noah left the room, Dawn spontaneously asked Noah to give her a kiss on the forehead. Even though Noah looked shocked, but he still gave those sweet smiled. Henry was smiling and made a fake sound of crying. "My best friend is happy now, why am I still single!" Noah rolled his eyes and dragged Henry for the meeting. Dawn was shocked of what she did. "Why did you do that! Are you crazy! Oh my God! What's happening!" Dawn covered her face with her palm and looked at the ring that was nicely wrapped her finger. While she was admiring the ring, a flashback of Noah's proposal came across her eyes. Dawn felt so dizzy. She held the head for a while and her headache slowly slow down.

Emma pushed the office door and saw Dawn sitting with her hands on her head. Emma smirked and anger starting to boil inside of her. Dawn took Noah from her, she believed in that! "Hey slut!" Dawn looked up and stood up. She did not call her 'slut'. "You know what, I don't like you Dawn! What kind of name is Dawn? Donkey?" Emma kept insulting Dawn until Dawn was no longer patience. "why are you so mean to me? What is the matter if I'm married to Noah?!" Emma's eyes turned to psychotic as she pulled Dawn's hair until Dawn fell to the ground. "Noah was mine until you took her from me! I was ready to come back for him!" Dawn was screaming for help as Emma kept hurting her.

Noah and Henry came back from the meeting and found Emma was hurting Dawn. Noah rushed to Dawn and separated them from each other. There are bruises at Dawn's arm. Noah looked at Emma like he's about to kill her. "what you think you doing!" Henry kept Emma away from Dawn, Emma looked so maniac that time, but she changed quickly to sympathy looked in front of Noah. She scratched her arm with her long nails. Henry and Noah didn't see it as they were busy with Dawn. "I'm sorry Noah, she attacked me first and I guess the adrenaline rushed to my body, so I fight back. But I never want to hurt her." Dawn couldn't believe what Emma just said. She trying to play the blame game there. "You're the one who attack me first!" Dawn was furious. Emma went to Noah and showed him the scratch she did and claimed that Dawn did that to her. Noah was so mad. Dawn never see Noah like that. "Get the hell out of here Emma!" Noah pushed Emma to the ground. Dawn was feeling not so good and she passed out. Noah picked Dawn up like a bridal style and rushed to the hospital. "Stop it Emma! Noah is a happy man now. What are you even doing here? You're not on this airline. Back to where you belong!" Henry walked out, followed his best friend to the hospital.

Emma looked at the door, her breath was unstable as she was holding her anger in. "I belong to Noah!"

Noah and Henry sat at the waiting room waiting for Dawn who was checked by the doctor. Nathan came with Jasper in his crib. "What happen?!" Nathan was out of breath. Henry took Jasper from Nathan and looked after him. He gave Noah the 'I will kill you' look as Noah didn't tell him that Dawn has delivered their baby. Noah told Nathan what happened, and it got Nathan more concerned about Dawn's safety. She still in her recovery from the accident and this Emma girl was a threat to her. While Noah and Nathan talked about Dawn's health issues, Henry was confused. "wait, Dawn is suffering with temporally amnesia? Bro! What happen here? Why you didn't tell me anything!" Noah looked at Henry with remorse. He knew that his best friend was upset because he was MIA for the past few weeks. Noah told Henry everything. Henry was upset but he understands how difficult it was for them.

The doctor came out from the room and tell Dawn was doing fine. After they're finished at the hospital, Henry excused himself and he drove back to the airport for some unsettled work. Noah was driving Dawn to get some ice cream, as she requested before they went home. Nathan, of course went straight home with Jasper. Dawn and Noah sat near the window, enjoying their ice cream. Dawn got peppermint chocolate chip while Noah got the vanilla ice cream. Dawn was looking at Noah. Noah glanced at Dawn and smiled, "What?" Dawn smiled and reached for Noah's hand. "I remember the proposal. It was so beautiful Noah" Noah was speechless. "Y-y-you remember?" Dawn smiled and nodded. Noah stood up and hugged her, Dawn hugged him back. Noah was so happy. He missed the touch of Dawn and of course her hugs. Emma stood near the store's door and witnessed the memorable moment for Noah. She hates the smile that Dawn put on Noah's lips. She rolled her eyes and walked out the store.

Dawn's memory slowly recovered day by day. Dawn spent so much time with Noah and Jasper. Nathan back to his apartment. Surely, he misses the big TV he used to play Fortnite at the guest room. But Nathan was beyond happy, everything is going to be alright.

After dinner, Dawn was putting Jasper to sleep when Noah received a call from work. He talked on the phone for hours. After putting Jasper inside his crib, Dawn went to their bedroom and getting ready for bed. Noah came in and took a pillow to Jasper's room. "Where are you going?" Noah turned around. "I sleep in Jasper's room". Dawn walked to Noah, she took the pillow from Noah's hand and tossed it at the bed. "You sleep with me". Noah stared at Dawn's eyes, he hugged Dawn and lay her on the bed. Noah kissed Dawn's plump lips and Dawn replied to the kiss. "I love you" Noah whispered to Dawn's ear. Dawn smiled and wrapped her arms around Noah's neck. "You going to work?" Noah kissed her cheek. "I have flight tomorrow. I'm going to Korea." Dawn pouted. "I will miss you then". Noah laughed a little and stroked her hair. "It will be only a couple of days babe. I'll be back in your arms." Dawn smiled, and their lips meet each other again, the night went beautiful for them.
