Chapter 9: Fall Apart

Dawn was packing her stuff and ready to go out of the house. She can't stay at the house anymore. She felt so betrayed and hurt. Nathan packed his stuff and Jasper's stuff. He took Jasper to his car and waited for Dawn there. Dawn took her suitcases out and closed the front door. Tears still rolling down her cheeks, but she need to go away.

Noah arrived at LAX and took a cab to the house. When he reached the house, he found no one over there and the house was silence. He called Dawn and Nathan but no answered. He drove to Nathan's apartment and knocked on Nathan's door. Nathan opened the door and found Noah. "What are you doing here?" Noah was confused. "What happened bro? I went to the house, but you guys were not there." Nathan rolled his eyes. "Why are you here? Why don't you just stay at the hotel where you are having fun with the girl. Come on Noah! I thought you're different from all the boys that whistles at my sister. Yeah don't acted so shocked, we saw a picture Noah." Noah was silenced. Nathan threw the photos at Noah's face. "Just in case if you're dumb enough to know what picture it was." Nathan almost closed the door when Noah pushed it again, making the door wide opened. "Let me explain". Dawn was out from the room and found Noah at the door. "Dawn, please listen to me. Nothing ever happened Dawn!" Dawn held her tears and went to Noah, she took off the ring on her finger and threw it at Noah. "Give it to Emma. I wished you the best." Dawn slammed the door.

Dawn and Nathan sitting at the living room while watching the tv. Nathan knew that Dawn was not pay attention to the show even thought her eyes was fixated on the screen. "Dawn, I know it's hard for you". Dawn looked at Nathan. "I want a divorce." Nathan looked at Dawn with confused. "You remember?" Dawn smirked and wiped her tears from her face. "I remember everything after Emma attacked me at the airport. I know I was married to him and I wanted to surprise you guys, but I never knew it could turn like this." Emma looked down and let her tears escaped his eyes freely. Nathan felt so sympathy at Dawn and he felt the hurt Dawn felt. He loves Dawn and he only have Dawn. "Are you sure?" Dawn nodded and hugged Nathan.

Noah was hopeless. He was depressed and cried every day. Henry constantly check on him. He knew how hard Noah worked for Dawn and he did everything to make things better with her. But the efforts that he worked on seems meaningless when Dawn's lawyer came today, handing him the divorce paper. Noah was laying on the couch, hopeless. "Bro, I hate seeing you like this. Go and talk to her! Don't give up!" Noah closed his eyes, recalling all the good memories of Dawn. "I'm not giving up but what can I do? She refused to see me, Nathan hates me and now, she wants for a divorce" A tear escaped from Noah's eyes. He doesn't care if Henry want to call him for being weak. He was nothing, without Dawn.

The doorbell rang, and Henry went opened the door. Emma was standing there with remorse portrayed on her face. "Henry, I want to see Noah." Henry was angry and slammed the door, but the door was blocked by Emma. "please?" Henry sighed and let Emma came in. She walked in and sat on the couch near Noah. "Noah?" Noah looked up and saw Emma. Anger boiling inside of him, he stood up and ready to drag Emma out. "Wait. I know you're mad of me and I know I ruin your marriage. But listen to me." Henry calmed Noah down and they sat down. "I'm sorry Noah for what I've done. I came back to be with you because I still love you. I am so stupid for leaving you at the altar. I was hurt when I know you're married to Dawn. Dawn was perfect and I'm jealous of her because she has your heart. But then I realized that there's no more room for me in your heart. I thought you will come back to me if Dawn doesn't want you anymore, but I just break you. I am sorry Noah. Dawn have something that I will never have. She has you." Noah looked at her and smiled.
