A/N: Thank you guys so much for reading Part 1. Hope you guys liked it. This is the second and last part of this short story. I am sorry if I am rushing through with the years, but it's just because I want to mention all the Hogwarts years (and maybe even more!). On with the chapter!
Fifth year...
"Malfoy, please!"
Draco was smirking at her as he dragged her through the corridors. Everytime she tried to pull her hand away, he would tighten his grip a little, but not enough to hurt her.
"Malfoy!" Hermione shouted.
Draco stopped walking and turned around to face her, his hand still wrapped around her wrist.
He had found her exiting the Room of Requirement. Umbridge knew that they were upto something, and so had asked him and some other students to keep an eye on them, and to bring them to her if they found them doing something.
Draco had been waiting for this for days. Luckily for him, Hermione was the last student that day to exit the room. She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she hadn't noticed him walking towards her, and grabbing her wrist in his hand.
"Anything to say, Granger?" He asked her.
"Where you taking me, Malfoy? I haven't done anything wrong." Hermione told him.
"Don't act innocent, Granger. I know what you and your other friends have done. Don't tell me that you all haven't started a rebellion group against Umbridge." He said.
"I think you didn't hear me perfectly, ferret. I said that I hadn't done anything wrong. I didn't say that I haven't done anything. And, what we all are doing, is going to help us, and not harm anyone." Hermione told him.
Draco stepped a little closer to her and said, "Careful, Granger. One more insult and I will take you to Umbridge's office this instant."
"You are only supporting Umbridge because she sides with you Slytherins. That's the only reason. Otherwise, we both know how evil she is. And, don't you want to learn more spells that will help us. I know that even you don't want to just read, and not perform any spell." Hermione said.
"You don't know anything about me, Granger. And, aren't you breaking the school rules by forming this group? I thought you of all people would be better than that." He said to her.
"Oh please, Malfoy. You don't know half the things I have done." She rolled her eyes at him.
At this, Draco smirked and said, "For once in your life, you're wrong, Granger. I know what you, Scarhead and Weasel did in our second year. I would have liked to see you in your cat form."
When she didn't say anything, he asked, "What? You thought I would never find out about that? I am not as stupid as you think I am."
Hermione shook her head and said, "That's not the point here. Look, if you leave me, then I would do anything for you, without asking any questions."
"Really?" He asked her.
Hermione nodded her head. He thought for a moment and then removed his hand from hers. "I will keep that in mind. Be careful, Granger." He said.
And with that, he walked away from there, leaving her to think that what had she gotten herself into.
Few weeks later
He couldn't save her this time.
He stood there watching her struggle to escape from his fellow Slytherin's grip. He couldn't save her, not this time, not in front of her.
