(Keefe's POV)
Keefe was nervous. He knew that he needed to make sure everything went smoothly. He got the cookies he had specially made. One made especially for each of his friends. He did this earlier, and wanted to make sure that they all had something that wouldn't take away from the cake later.
"What's this for?" Sophie asked, shocked. Keefe smirked.
"I had cookies specially made, there is one thing that represents you on the top, and that's yours. Mine is the one with the paintbrush on it, along with the word 'Keefester'. You have to guess which one's yours." Sophie's found hers first, it had an A+ and an alicorn on it. Biana found her's second, with high heels and a mirror. Fitz's had an eye and a crown on it. Tam had two words and a shadow on his, the words were Bangs Boy. Marella had a campfire on her's, Linh had a fish, and Dex had a computer on his.
Once they had all eaten their cookies and paid. Keefe suggested that they go to the boys' dorm. Sophie said she had work in the morning, and she couldn't stay long, but she could go for a few minutes. They all agreed, and they all met at the dorms, and Sophie and Biana got there last. Sophie was about to walk in when Biana forgot her phone in the car and asked Sophie to go get it. Sophie gave in and went down to the car and got her phone. She was exhausted, and she thought she could call them later, but then she remembered that Keefe had taken her phone. She reluctantly went back inside and was shocked. It was completely dark and no one was there. Then, all of a sudden, there was confetti everywhere and the lights turned on. Sophie was taken back a step. Then Keefe picked her up and spun her around.
"Happy Birthday Foster!!" Keefe screamed. Sophie was so shocked.
When she was finally set down, she looked around. There were presents on the coffee table, and cake in the kitchen.
"What? How did you know?" She asked. Keefe shook his head.
"Foster, Foster, the Keefester never gives up his secrets." Sophie laughed.
"He looked in your planner." Everyone said together. She looked at Biana.
"You knew. That's why you had me go to the car." Biana looked sheepish. She looked at Fitz.
"Is that why you gave me the twenty?" He nodded.
"Are we gonna open presents or not?" Dex asked. Sophie gave him a pointed look.
"Alright. Which one first?" A little while later all the presents had been open, they sang happy birthday, and Sophie had to go home.
TIME SKIP()()()()()()()()()()()()()(Sophie POV)
Sophie called dibs on shower first. When she got out, she pulled out one of her favorite books, The Fault In Our Stars. Hazel she could easily relate to. She was smart, she felt singled out, and she was sarcastic. She felt like this book was written specially to her. The book's binding was fraying, and the pages were stiff from tears. The copy was special to her because it had been a gift from Grady and Edaline before she moved in. Then Biana came in, and then something unexpected happened.
"Maybe okay can be our always." Sophie looked up and saw Biana standing the doorway. Sophie smiled.
"My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations," Sophie said.
"I'm on a roller coaster that only goes up my friend," Biana said.
"That's the thing about pain, it demands to be felt." It went on like that for 7 and a half minutes, yes Sophie timed it. Sophie eventually won the quoting wars, with: "I fell in love the way you fall asleep; slowly at first, but then all at once." Then they both said good night and went to bed. Sophie stayed up a little longer than Biana. She thought that this was one of the best birthdays ever, which reminded her of her parents present she had hidden under her bed. She pulled the small box out and opened it. Inside were the most beautiful pair of earrings she had ever seen. They were Fault In Our Stars. She was ecstatic. She couldn't believe she actually had friends.
(These are her earrings)
A/N: Hello! Sorry, it took so long to update. Really. I was busy, and I hope all of you are healthy, and my fellow Aguszel fans, I love this book. I can't get enough, I hope you all love this book as much as I. My Fave quote below.
"I mean, seriously: How did scrambled eggs get stuck with breakfast exclusivity?" I agree we should be able to eat eggs whenever we want and not get judged. Anyway, stay healthy!
Peace out!
