It's another Sunday after church, Abel is still out of town.

Adeline and Emma are walking down the street chatting about anything and everything since last Sunday.

"Do you know when Abel is going to be back in town?" Adeline asks with a slight smile on her face.

"Honestly, I have no idea." Emma said wondering why she is asking so many questions about Abel.

"Oh, I just think it was so nice of him helping me last week." Adeline said, completely out of reality.

Emma just looks at Adeline and wonders when these two will open their eyes and just get together. She knew that since childhood Adeline has been in love with Abel, but he seems to be oblivious to the fact.

As the two chatted and walked, they made plans for later this evening for dinner at Adeline's house that was not far from town.

Emma thought about the attack outside the livery, and just couldn't tell Beau who had ruffed her up.

"What would he have thought of her if he knew Nathan almost had his way with her?" She shuddered at the thought.

She knew that she would have to tell him about Nathan, but not anytime soon hopefully.

Emma and Adeline say their good byes and go their separate ways. Emma heads to the jail but finds out, from the person Beau put there in charge of the place that Abel was still out of town.

So Emma goes in search for the only other man that can help her, Beau, and god help her where she's going to look for him at.

The bar keep looked up from cleaning the bar when Emma rushed inside through the swinging doors, he was rounding the bar and reached out and grabbed her wrist hauling her towards the doors.

"Look here Ms. Emma, you can't be in here this is no place for a lady!" Edward told her.

As Emma was opening her mouth to speak, a cowboy comes up, pushes Edward to the floor, as he lifts Emma over his shoulder so fast her breath is knocked out of her.

As the cowboy starts for the stair case heading up to a room, he yells over his shoulder to his fellow cowboys, "you boys can wait till I've had my fill of this one, before you wet your dirty dicks in her!" as he laughs and continues up the stairs.

About that time Emma catches her breath.

"Put me down right now!" she screamed as she started to kick and punch the cowboy.

"No way, I'm going to fuck you so hard and there's nothing you're going to do to stop me!" He said as he kept climbing the stairs, ignoring Emma's kicks and punches as if they didn't even affect him.

Emma begins to cry, "Why does this always happen to me?" she thinks to herself as she can't help the tears that are flowing out of her.

Around this time Beau is walking into the Saloon talking to Elizabeth about trying to get his mind off Emma, when he heard a scream from the stair case.

He look over and seen a woman being carried against her will by a cowboy.

Swearing under his breath, he turned his eyes from the cowboy to the woman slung over his shoulder and his breath left him and he just knew that his heart had stopped.

Beau moved so fast like a rattle snake striking it's pray to his gun, he had it out, cocked, pointed at the cowboy and was behind them before the cowboy took another step.

"Put the lady down boy, right god damn now!" Beau told him with just barely concealed anger.

Emma looked up and seen Beau as more tears rolled down her cheeks.
