it was morning. i woke up. the sun was so bright, so i decided to get out of bed. i got to the bathroom and took a shower. the hot water felt so nice on my skin. then i brushed my teeth and went to my bedroom with a towel around my body. i got inside and put my underwear and got dressed. then i went to my brother's room and quietly walked inside. he wasn't there. i got downstairs to the dining table, to see both of my parents and my brother eating waffles.

"good morning" i greeted them with a big smile on my face.

"good morning sweetie!" my mom said while getting a plate from the kitchen.

"good morning" my dad said also with a smile.

"hii ale" my brother waved at me and then smiled as well.

i smiled at them and sat down next to my brother. i got waffles from a big plate and placed them to my plate and put syrup on top of them. i started eating. after a few minutes my family and i finished eating. my dad said his "goodbye" because he found a job before we moved here. my brother got to his room and i got to the kitchen to help mom to wash the dishes.

"aye mom!" i smiled at her.

"yes honey?" she asked me.

"am i going to school today?" i asked.

"no. ale this is the last day of school, today is starting the summer break..." she said.

i literally jumped out of happines and hugged my mother. i ran upstairs and ran to my brother's room. he was on his computer and jumped.

"WHAT HAPPENED!" he almsot yelled scared.

"look. today is the last day of school-"
i needed to catch some breath.

"yay!" he jumped and hugged me.

i hugged him back and kissed his little  tiny cute forhead. then i got to my room, wich was right next to his. i threw my self on my bed and grabbed my phone. i was scrolling thru some notifications and one notification caught my eye. it was a text from "mattia 🦖🤍". i opened it.

i was kinda nervous not gonna lie. i got downstairs and told my mom. she agreed. i hugged her and went to my room. i sprayed perfume, fixed my hair and ran downstairs trying not to look nervous. because it wad summer, i got outside with a short - sleeved t-shirt. i slid my phone into my sweatpants and shoved my converse shoes on my feet. i took a deep breath and walked outside.

as i stepped in my garden, i could see mattia. he was sexy not gonna lie. he waved at me. i got butterflies, i thought i was gonna faint there. i felt my cheeks heating up. i awkwardly smiled and waved back. i closed the door behind me and walked out of the gates.

"hey, nice to see you again!" mattia greeted me with a smile.

"haha, same" i said awkwardly.
"where we gonna go now?" i asked.

"um, there's a park near our houses. wanna go there?" he asked me.

"i don't see why not" i said.

he laughed. WTF HIS LAUGH 🥺 literally the cutest thing ever. i got butterflies, again. "i am straight. ale, i am fucking staraight..." i was telling my self.

mattia's POV

i really want to be friends with alejandro. like close friends. he seems very cool. i wanted more friends. he's such a sweetheart and he's cute too...
"WAIT WHAT? he's cute!? WTF MATTIA?" i was yelling inside my head, in my thoughts. no way, i'm not gay. i like girls. i never liked my besfriend, kairi. but alejandro hits diffrent. but what is wrong with me? i kept telling my self.

"is this the park?" i heard ale saying.

i quickly looked at where he was pointing, and yes that was the park.

"yes, that's the park." i said.

i was almost sweating oh my god. anyways, we walked twoards the park. "i need to break the shyness" i said to my self. "if i wanna be his bestie, i need to be my self." i said to my self.

we sat on the swings, next to each other.

"well, we need to know each other better  don't we?" i said.

"yeah, i agree." ale said with his cute voice.

"well, i'm mattia polibio. i am seventeen years old, my birthday was on may 16th. i live right next to your house. my bestfriend is called kairi, i have a little brother, his name is gianluca and yeahh..." i said.

"i am alejandro rosario. i am seventeen years old as well and my birthday is on 14th january. i also live right next to your house. i don't have any bestfriends, since everyone made fun of me because i get panic attacks, breakdowns and get scared a lot. i also have a little brother and his name is emiliano." he said.

"so your older than me!?" i said confused.

"i guess so..." he said.

"we can be bestfriends since you don't have any." i said.

"okay, just don't make fun of me, i am very emotional and i told the rest..." he said sadly.

"of course, i would never." i said.

we kept talking for 2 hours.
