time skip: a week later

mattia's POV

it was the first day of school.

the only thing i could hear was the annoying sound of my alarm going off.

"fuck" i mumbled as i got out of bed.

it was 6 am. all i wanted is summer to get back. i got to my bathroom and took a shower. the hot water felt so good on my skin. then i brushed my teeth, got dressed and ate my breakfast. it was 6:50 and school started at 7:15 am. i got a text from ale.

i wouldn't call him "baby" or anything in school or around anyone. i guess i'm not that dumb.

"thank god no one knows about our dirty little secret" i thought to myself.

i was at alejandro's house and knocked on the door. he came outside and quickly hugged me.

"i love you mattia, i love you so much" he said.

"um, we're in public, aren't we?" i asked.

"excuse me nobody is around" he said.

i just smiled at him and kissed his nose.

"okay, let's go now" i said.

alejandro went inside his house, closing the door. after a minute i could hear alejandro saying "bye" to his parents and opening the door. he is the cutest person ever, oh my god.

we started walking twoards kairi's house. we got to his house to see kairi sitting on the doorstep on his phone.

"hey!" kairi said running twoards us.

he jumped into me and alejandro started laughing.

"hi" i said looking down, because kairi is short 🙄.

"hey kai" alejandro said.

bro i can't- he's the cutest ever.

we greeted each other and walked twoards the bus stop. after 5 minutes we got there and i sat next to alejandro. because alvaro and roshaun moved to florida (i think) and robert moved to a new school, kairi sat alone one seat in front of us two.

we talked the whole ride and then the bus dropped us at our school. we walked outside and went to the principal's office. alejandro walked inside and me and kairi just waited for him outside the room talking.
