You got into your apartment and as soon as you slipped out the dress you were in and got into some decent pajamas you went to bed. It had been a longgg day.
-time skip to morning-
I woke up with the sun hitting my eyes. I really had to close my curtains before I went to sleep tomorrow this was getting annoying. I sat up in bed not wanting to do anything and I look over at the time. The clock read 8:28 am. You decided your room was a mess since all you've been doing is work. You got up and went to get a drink of water. Marcus wasn't home so you assumed he went for a run or something. You serve yourself a bowl of cereal and are scrolling through Instagram when someone knocks on your door.
"Hey" you say opening the door revealing joji. "Hey y/n.." he says sighing. You move out the way as a signal to come inside. "Thank you" "So what are you doing here." You said sitting back down to eat your cereal. "Just wanted to stop by and see how your doing?" He said sounding like he got bothered. "Look joji im not gonna beat around the bush.. do you miss your ex.?" His face turned red. "To be honest with you y/n," he sighed "yeah I still do sometimes, we had plans to get married and everything but I promise you this, my feelings for her romantically are gone, I mean yeah sure I miss her but I don't love her like I used too. She's just hurt me. I'm not making any sense right now but can you trust me?" You looked down at your now soggy bowl of cereal, mixing it around joji repeated your name for you to acknowledge his presence. "Y/n... are you listening to me.?" "Yeah joji I am.." you said getting up and pouring the cereal down the sink. You flipped the garbage disposal as he started talking. You glared him in the eye as he looked down when your eyes met. You turned it off and walked away from the sink brushing his shoulder as you walked out the kitchen as much as this hurt you and you didn't wanna say it, it had to be said. "Look joji, i dont wanna be with you if you still have feelings for her. I'm not gonna be somebody's second option, trust me I remember what you said yesterday, but for all I know you could've been lying to me and I don't wanna get hurt joji I just can't be someone to replace her for you and I wis-" his lips met yours before you could finish talking. "Y/n... you are not a second option. And I'd never do anything to hurt you. I know we barely know each other but, I love you and to you it might be to early but I wanna spend most of my time with you y/n. I feel so happy whenever I'm around you and-" you returned the favor like he did as went in for a kiss. His eyes widened as you placed a kiss so you closed your eyes. Soon you felt him kiss you back. You felt the passion in the kiss, his lips so pink and soft. He put his hand on the back of your neck and the other around your waist pulling you closer. You put your arms around his neck and you felt his grin grown as you guys continued kissing. He soon broke this kiss leaving you wanting for more. "Look id love to kiss you forever, but I wanna make sure that you believe me y/n I'm not some guy who just wants to get in your pants. You believe me right?" He looked at you with sad eyes. You put your arm on his cheek. "I believe you joji." He smiled and continued to kiss you. "Let me take you out today." He said in between kisses. "Okay but let's stay like this for a little longer." You replied. "As you wish." about five minutes had gone by and you two were still making out. You heard the door swing open and gasp we're heard. "Shit.. umm fuck Heyy Marcus.." "What the fuck is he doing here.." you stayed silent playing with your fingers. "And what is he doing with his tongue like halfway down your throat.!" Marcus asked with a hand on his waist. Joji got up as he started walking towards the door "I'll see you in 40?" You nodded and He continued walking out. "Care to explain y/n?" You sighed as Marcus walked over to you. You explained everything and luckily he was very understanding.

Joji said he'd see me in 40 and it's been 20 minutes I should start getting ready. You didn't know where he was gonna take you so wore nothing to much. You threw on a pair of black ripped mom jeans and a light yellow crop top and you wore your hair down. About when you finished joji texted if you were ready and you replied with yes and you went down to the lobby. "Ready?" He asked as you two intertwined fingers. "Yup." You said grabbing his arm basically clinging onto him. You guys walked because he said it wasn't far and you still had no clue where you guys were doing. When you guys started walking into a sort of run down diner. You enjoyed little holes in the walls like this, vintage and old. You smiled as people turned to you guys smiling and whispering to their friends. They probably recognized joji and you were totally out of it till he started walking which dragged you with him. You guys slipped into a booth and you sat facing each other. "Sorry if this is like a cliche date or some shit like that. I just thought I'd bring you here this place is kinda cool and they have great food." You smiled. "Joji this place is awesome, Im excited" you said grabbing his hand under the table.
