~Katherine's POV~
I wake up to a throbbing pain in my head from crying so hard. I look around and I'm still on the beach. I get up and brush myself off. I turn around and start walking. I walk across the road and hear my name. "Katherine!" I turned around and everything went black.
~Ashton's POV~
She ran out into the middle of the road. I saw the car before it hit her. I tried to warn her, she didn't hear me in time. I run out to the street where Katherine's body lies barely functional. I grab my phone and call 9-1-1 and wait on the ambulance. While I wait, I get Kat out of the road and call the one person I can think of to call. Luke: Yes Ash?
Ash: Luke it's Kat
Luke: What about her?
Ash: She got hit by a car.
Luke: What? Is she ok? Where are you? I'm coming.
~Luke's POV~
"I have to go Arzaylea." I said and she pouted. I hated pretending to be with her. I got out of the car and rolled my eyes. I made it to the hospital. "Katherine Aswell. Where is Katherine Aswell?" I say to the women at the front desk. "Room 253 B. Sir are you family? It's a family visit only at this time." She said looking at me. "I-i'm her boyfriend." I say lying. Not that I don't want to be with Kat I just can't. "Okay then sir go on back" she says and buzzes me in. I run back to Kat's room and pull the curtain back and see Kat. She's lying there looking lifeless. I walk over to her side and grab her hand. I start crying and thinking it's all my fault. I should have went over there to check on her. Now she is here laying with tubes and cords attached all over her pale white body. Her breathing steadily making her chest rise and fall. I lay my head on he side of her bed and fall asleep crying.
~Katherine's POV~
It's trippy I can see myself but I can't open my eyes, or move or talk at all. I see Luke as he comes in. I look at him confused. His face red and puffy it looks like he has been crying. I see him grab my hand but I can't do anything. I want to comfort him. To say anything to him to make him smile, but I can't. I can't even hold his hand back.
