Y/n's POV;

I stood beside one of the men in Tanya's hospital room.

Well...the way Tanya got hers was more painful than how I got my silver badge.

After the congratulations and stuff was given to her, I and her were finally given the alone time I've been craving to have.

"Are you going to tell me what happened on your point of view while I was in a different spot in the northern far from you?" I asked while taking a seat on one of the chairs.

She smirked again, this time, it was that pleasing and cute smirk she'd show me everytime we talk and something good happened for her, she then said, "I became a living grenade."

I snickered.

"A living grenade, huh..?" I raised a brow while crossing my arms before asking, "how so?"

She chuckled at it before saying, "I guess you could say I used my computation orb for it. It didn't really take me that long to make it explode."

"But it was quite hard fighting them after I was out of ammo though." She continued.

I sighed. A little disappointed but also a little proud for her...

"This is why I always remind you to bring extra ammo when you're able to, major Tanya. Just who knows what kind of situation you can get yourself into...add up the fact that you almost died!" I nagged her lightly.

Why would I nag someone who has more than one cast in them?

Besides that...she scared the living daylight out of me when I was told that she was brought down all together with the enemies she fought because they couldn't give her any back up. Damnit...if they had given her backup as soon as possible, she wouldn't have needed to use fire.

It even scared me more on how I helped with the search and found her on the ground with major injuries yet still breathing with a living heart that was slowly dying.

"Tanya Degurechaff," I began while making my way on the side where her silver wing badge was on.

She stared up at me. She knows something is up when I call her by her full name... I always call her by her full name when she does something I don't like....

With one eye looking at me, I frowned... at least her other eye had a minor injury so it being surgically taken out for safety measures on her health wasn't going to be a thing, she won't be losing an eye which relieved me to know from the doctors and nurses.

Sighing, I leaned down close to her before giving a quick peck on her forehead.

She still thinks she did something I didn't like which is good.

"Don't ever do something like that again, ok? Fear might kill before something else can, ok?" I said.

She huffed before saying, "I can't promise that completely though.. being X treats you a little nicer remember?"

I giggled.

"Very funny." I said while clutching the bed sheets lightly.

I smiled while resting my forehead on hers before parting with a quick farewell.

I have a job to do and I can't stay with her that long.

...

Y'now, while I'm at it, I should tell you of that one time in the war zone where I and Tanya met Viktoriya and her classmates. Well, it was more of Tanya meeting Viktoriya...

I and Tanya had already decided not to see each other too much when we're in our workplace, in which, was the war zone and safe zone...it was to also not cause any sort of realization that we're actually in love together.

Err...if you're wondering, yeah Tanya killed Viktoriya's classmates for disobeying her orders.

Served them right for disobeying her but I guess it was a bit rude not to tell them that they were still going to die when they get transferred somewhere else.

It never mattered if I was treated badly or not, as long as Tanya was treated well.

It's just like how I and Tanya spoke about it when we were just six in the orphanage.

'I'm the man in the relationship now, so it's my job to please the woman.'

Pff-- it was a good laugh for us really.

Even the elderlies there questioned how we were really close together. Hell, they even went unto the reason for our eye contact when we were really young...

I can respect that, we are in fact physically young at that time but mentally old and we would just stare at each other for hours without end when we have nothing to talk about or we were getting bored in our own conversation.

Still... I hate the fact that people would sometimes talk behind her back.

I stitch their mouths shut when they do so, sometimes... I make it literate by getting them killed on their own.

Tanya found out about that after a while of suspicions and gave me a full-on quiet nagging in our free time. Of course, we were alone because it would've been horrible news for the other soldiers to realize I've been the one killing them and not the enemy bullets and explosion.

Just one day...when the time comes.

I'm so lucky to be in love with her...

Yeah, I can be smug.

That's how I and Tanya first had our first encounter when we were still in Japan.

He was a salaryman and I was a COO of the company he was loyal to.

It was fine.

We had big talks when we would be alone, moreover, it would be just the both of us making fun of each other before it came down to planning dates together.

He was the perfect man.

Even though he has the tendency to have sex with other women, he was loyal only to me.

I didn't mind him going to other women to let off stress, I was always busy and we both understood that.

There were times where I'd catch him in certain places to get women really, mostly it would just be me passing by and we would just ignore each other so that we don't make a big talk about it.

He understood that too, I would be placed in a horrible state if anyone found out about us being a thing.

We've kept it hidden by saying were close friends since young and we knew each other in our school days.

Heh... everyone fell for it really.

...

"So? How was the hospital service?" I asked while sitting beside her.

It's been a week or so and she didn't have any more casts which let's her finally move more freely and easily.

"It was fine, why ask?" She said while looking over the papers I gave her.

We'll be sent into the empire city or..whatever it was called again.

I honestly don't know what it's called and Tanya doesn't really care if she knows what it's called or not.

Benefits come from going there, the military school to be exact.
