There was complete silence between the two.

Moreover, it was deja Vu in the air.

"T.. Tanya..?" Y/n mumbled while taking slow and steady steps towards her.

Tanya was in shock.

How did a boy his age and height know her name.

Closing the door behind her, she made her way around the table and over to y/n who was in dazed by her.

Before y/n could even say anything, he let out a small yet quiet shriek when Tanya yanked her by the collar to face her up close.

"How do you know my name!?" Tanya whispered.

Y/n shrugged.

"I... I don't know.. I just felt like your name was Tanya...you just look so familiar an--"

"What is your name?"

Tanya muzzled y/n off before he could finish his quiet stammering.

Y/n's mouth was agap open in surprise.

"My name..?" He mumbled while looking down with a finger pointing to his lower lip.

Tanya raised a brow over the small gesture. It was a bit womanly to look at.

"It's...y/n..y...y/n Charles Browne."

Tanya felt dumbstruck.

"Are...are you sure it's not l/n??" She asked.

Y/n hummed in confusion.

"Y/n l/n...that sounds right..but, all I can remember was y/n Charles Browne." He said.

There was silence between the two again.

Tanya sighed, shoving y/n off who lost hold of the bandages that went mid-air.

But didn't fall to do ground.

Both eyed it before they growled and spoke in unison.

"Being X!"

They both shot up.

'How does he know of that infamous being X!??' Tanya thought.

'She knows that devil proclaiming God!??' y/n thought.

Then there was a voice.

"How are you two doing?"

Y/n immediately stood up while yelling out, "what did you do to me!?? You made me forget something, I know you erased a big memory in my mind!!"

Tanya was in shock.

"He...he erased something in your mind too!?" She asked.

Y/n yanked his head around, nodding before he felt deja Vu once again.

"Hang on, why do you know about being X?" He asked.

Tanya huffed before saying, "he's the reason I'm in this damned world!!"

"Well, he's also the reason I'm in this hell hole too and I don't trust you. Not after pushing me." Y/n said while pointing a finger towards Tanya.

Tanya smacked it off, growling when she felt accused.

"I don't care if you trust me or not! As long as I'm not dealing with another one of his damn tricks, I'll leave you alone!" She said.

Y/n shot a look of surprise.

"Tricks??? Tricks!??? You call giving me a concussion into forgetting everything a trick!???" He yelled.

He had grown a nerve from Tanya who also grew a nerve when he yelled at him.

"Listen here, you're being accused as a spy which means you are in no position to yell at me!!" She said.

Y/n scoffed, placing a hand on his waist while rolling his eyes to show disinterest.

"Not like I care for some scrawny title! Hell, I don't even care if I get accused, if it's not part of being X's damn plans I would gladly take it!!" He said.

Tanya growled.

"If you really don't care, why don't you turn yourself in and forget any of this happening!??" She said.

Y/n huffed before saying, "with a bleeding hand!???? What am I?? Being X's favorite child!? I don't even know if I'll survive slowly bleeding to death!!"

"Damn right, I'm pretty sure I'll be dead before I knew it!" He continued while raising his hand mid-air.

Tanya flinched for a quick second before she asked, "that wound, what did you use to cut??"

Y/n frowned, he was still irritated.

"And who are you to ask that??" He scoffed.

Tanya grew another nerve and without a second did she throw a fist towards y/n who blocked it and threw a punch back.

It was a complete attack and deflect between the two before Tanya rushed in, gripping y/n by the shoulders and slamming him towards one of the cabinets.

Both tripped down and y/n was given a hard impact in the back of his head to yell in pain before loosing conciousness.

Tanya gasped for air, smiling wide on her victory before something hit her in the head.

"It seems a concussion can make you forget and hitting your head again can make you remember..."

Both were unconscious on the floor. Heads bleeding while breathing heavily.

Until an officer came in and saw them.

"Major!"

Tanya's officers were beside her in the bed.

They were inside the sleeping quarter.

"Major Degurechaff, are you ok!?" Weiss asked while standing beside with the others.

Tanya's vision was fuzzy. Grumbling, she stood up and held her head.

It was a complete headache for her.

"What the hell happened..?" She mumbled while touching her head.

It wasn't bleeding but it was aching.

"Luitenant Grantz saw you on top of a boy who had a bleeding head." Neumann said while giving space for Tanya who sat up.

Tanya sighed, her head really hurt. Wondering what hit her, she looked around the room to only see the other officers.

"Where's...major y/n..?" She asked while raising a brow when she tried to look for him only to spot him on the other bed, staring on the wall after taking a glance at her.

"Major y/n..??" Weiss was confused just like the others.

There was another sigh that left Tanya's lips as she fumbled around the drawer, grabbing a silver wing badge.

The officers present watched as Tanya made her way towards the blonde haired boy who kept ignoring her presence.

"Major y/n." Tanya called out while calmly patting his shoulder.

No response.

"Major y/n.." She called out again while shaking him calmly.

Still, no response.
