"We can't...and we'll be seen as the bad guys if we continue further." He said.

Tanya shot up, raising a brow as she held y/n's arms, taking his hold off of her waist to face him up close in the face.

Y/n hummed when she felt Tanya's breath around his cheek.

"Are you saying to ask for a 'to go in the rear'..?" She asked.

Y/n smirked.

"Exactly." He said before continuing with, "you wanted to get out of the war zone and the front lines, right?"

Both smirked while facing each other up close.

"You really know what I always want whenever I want." Tanya commented while reaching a hand over y/n's chin.

Y/n rolled his eyes while looking away, only to be turned around by the chin to face her back again.

Tanya smirked while raising her other hand close to y/n's waist.

"Are you jealous that I do then?" Y/n asked while leaning close enough for his nose to touch Tanya's cheek.

Tanya chuckled before saying, "it's a bit of a surprise knowing you and I had a concussion in forgetting."

Y/n flinched when he felt Tanya close the gap between them.

He could feel Tanya's smirk on his lips even when he's not leaning forward.

Running a hand around Tanya's upper waist, he leaned over with his other hand holding her by the back of the neck.

"Even though we've been reincarnated, you're still a good kisser." Y/n commented after parting from the kiss.

Tanya chuckled.

"And we're minors, we shouldn't be doing this." Y/n added.

Tanya got a quick laugh out of that.

"You're right, definitely minors in the head for joining the military as mages." She said.

Y/n gasped.

"You're bad." He said before carrying Tanya up.

Tanya flinched when he did so.

"Wow." She blurted out while chuckling.

Y/n grinned, leaning close near Tanya's crook, he pecked under Tanya's chin.

Then there was a knock that made both jolt up and yank each other away from one another.

It was just Grantz.

"Major Tanya and major y/n they have been gathered as you have both ordered!" He said.

Y/n and Tanya's faces were in a shade of red when they both relieved sighs.

"That's great, leave us for a bit we're a little busy." Y/n said while making his way back over to Tanya who shot a confused look.

"Understood, major y/n!"

Grantz's voice was deafening in y/n's ears when he went back on kissing Tanya.

Placing an arm by her shoulder while using the other behind her neck.

Tanya hummed softly while leaning forward with both hands on y/n's waist.

"Y/n, we're going to get caught!" Tanya whispered when they parted for a quick second.

Her words fell into deaf ears when y/n leaned forward again.

"I just missed you ok... And something seemed off when I woke up, it felt as if I was moved into a different timestamp." He said while resting his head on Tanya's crook.

Tanya huffed, patting y/n's back as she whispered, "it's true, it feels like we were asleep for more than a week after his stupid curse that miserably failed on us."

A chuckle was what she heard in response back as she kept a firm hold around y/n's waist.

"You're grip is kind of cute." Y/n snickered.

Tanya shot up, scoffing up a smirk before shoving y/n off of her.

"How dare you." She said while placing her hands down on the table with y/n trapped from going anywhere without her consent.

Y/n laughed before saying, "ok...that was rude but do tell me if it feels like time had skipped us."

Tanya paused.

"I think it did... I don't remember much but I think something seems off with the timestamps." She said before jolting upright when y/n yanked her in a tight hug.

Y/n smiled while patting Tanya's shoulders before saying, "if being X changed every time stamps... we'll just have to give in to his plans."

Tanya hummed.

"And besides... we'll be asking for a place in the rear, if being X is nicer on me, he'd agree to let us both have it." He continued while caressing Tanya's cheek.

Tanya smiled while placing a hand on y/n's hand.

"That's foul play..." She said.

Y/n chuckled while making his way over to the door.

"What? That doesn't mean it can't be used." He said while turning the knob.

Tanya sighed while walking up to him to follow.

"Now come on, let's go meet these rookies of yours." Y/n said.

"Hang on there, just how are you going to explain who you really are?" Tanya asked after stopping y/n from opening the door.

Y/n perked up a bit from that abrupt question before he said, "I'll explain it like how a normal human being would do."

Tanya raised a brow before asking, "what if they don't believe you and might plot to try and kill you or spy on you? Y'now how Being X is..."

Y/n chuckled.

"Yeah... He's a desperate piece of shit." He said, even spoke four words in Japanese to keep anybody who's listening to not understand what they're talking about.

Tanya sighed.

"Aww, c'mon! Are you doubting me??" Y/n asked after a short minute of silence.

"Yeah... I am." Tanya blurted out without a second thought over her own words when y/n asked.

Only those three words made y/n irritated if I do say so myself.

Way too irritated to cooperate with Tanya when they got on board in the plane.

"It was exactly like the ones in our history class before, Tanya." Y/n said while writing down a few things on his small notepad.

Tanya didn't respond and continued to cross her arms while staring at what was in front of her.

"Are you seriously ignoring me?" Y/n asked when he shoved the notepad back inside his front pocket.

Tanya didn't respond again.
