Seth

Closing the door on my way out, I let out a heavy  breath. That moment with Brennen was intense but Sabrina always seemed to ruin my mood with whatever she says to me.

I was almost nearing my car when I heard my name being called so I turned back.

Owen, of course. He was jogging over to me with a determined look. I rolled my eyes, "What!" I sounded rude but frankly, I didn't care.

When he stopped I could actually see how different he looked. I couldn't deny that he was handsome; around 5'10 with pitch black hair and hazel eyes, he still had the same features but it was obvious he was living his best life with designer clothes and shoes. He even had a Rolex watch on and I just knew it was a gift from Sabrina.

"I miss you." I only gave him a dumb look and he sighed casting his eyes on me. The same eyes that looked to me with love only, he looked at another the same way.

"I honestly do miss you Seth."

"I really don't care, and if that's what you came here for then can I leave?" I give him a pointed look and he shakes his head.

"No, I wanna meet up with you sometime. I just want to talk with you." He gave me a pleading look and I could only scoff, "I'm serious Seth."

"What for? I don't want to even be associated with you."

"Well, too late for that huh. Seeing as you're her maid of honor." Oh, right. How could I forget about that.

"Owen, cut the bullshit. I know you don't want to just talk." I rolled my eyes disregarding the fact that he was right. I had gotten myself into their lives again  when I agreed to be her maid of honor and now, I'm slowly starting to regret it. He fumbled with his fingers before saying,

"Seeing you again, I-" he grumbles, "I still have feelings for you."

Don't believe him. Don't believe him. Do NOT believe him.

"Really?" He nods.

I smirk and approach him to cup his cheek. I could visibly see him soften and give me a look. I knew that look all too well, remembering how I've always been bedded by that very same one. I chuckle before giving him one hard slap to the cheek.

He recoils in shock and I give him a glare. He was not expecting that and I mentally give myself a victorious pat on the back seeing his dejected look.

"You can take your false confessions up your cheating ass because I'm not falling for it again." I swiftly turn back and enter my car.  I look back and see Sabrina running outside from the house and going for Owen who quickly rejects her touch, going to his own vehicle as she stares back at him in shock, her following soon after - no doubt - to argue with him.

I chuckle, and turn on my car before connecting my phone to the Bluetooth. Quickly playing the song Truth hurts - Lizzo, I was out of there in a flash.
