Her hair was black and silky, her eyes were a beautiful bottle green, her skin was pale as the moon, she was beautiful. She caught me staring and smiled a cheeky smile. "Take a picture why don't ya" she called. I put my head down, blushing intensely. "Hey," she spoke next to me, I didn't see or hear her walk over, "Name's Jade, and you?" "J-Jesse" I managed to stutter.
"They've been gone a while. Should we go check on them?" Annie's voice cut my thoughts like a knife.
"Nah, they're probably out snogging somewhere." Erik scoffed.
"Snogging?" I smirked.
"It means-" Annie started.
"I know what it means," I interrupted, "it's just not the word anyone uses."
"You would know," Erik Growled. "no one would ever love you enough to kiss you."
At that point, I got up and stormed out, straight past Maddison and Matt. When I got past the car park, I started running. Tears streamed down my face as I ran.
He was right. Who could love me? But he missed a small detail. The real question is, who could love me like she did?
